Our story so far... After much research throughout the States, Smokin Bones had its first outing in Herbert Park in 2014. Barbecue has grown to be a way of life for the Smokin Bones team and is much more than smoky meats and juicy flavours. Barbecue is about friends gathering together and sharing good food in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. That’s what we aim to achieve in our locations, from the head chef to your server on the floor.     Hi we where seated at Table 1, took ages for our order to be taken the waitress appeared distracted and disinterested in taken our order, we waited ages for food to come while waiting I could see our food ready to be served to use but was left in pass getting cold while one staff did a take away order another cleared table and another was awol. The food sat and sat and when it came it was cold as we were going to the olimpa for a concert we could not afford to return the food. We had to eat and go as took an hour from seating to eating. Wasn’t able to give feedback at time as we weren’t asked and only 3 interactions with Staff order food and pay. It killed me not to leave a tip as the food honestly would have being perfect if it was hot but service staff let down the kitchen this time for us. Not sure if we go back but willing to try again as like I said if food was hot it be delicious

    We ordered and I asked for just BBQ sauce on my pulled brisket Burger but it came fully dressed so that was the only issue I had with the food order, Its a great place staff very pleasent but the background music is a little too high for a small place . Value for money ? Id say yes as they offer a starter nacho so its a small portion enough to enjoy if ordering a main Etc.. we will return.

    We are looking for to repeat that fantastic dinner again. If burguer were delicious, ribs were another story. Also, the guys working there very very nice. Highly recommended!

    Right so we got what we paid for but I would have been happy to pay more and get more (as in quality). I ordered grilled chicken caesar salad and it was awful. The chicken was like something that was left over and had a sauce on it (tomato like) that had no place in a caesar salad. Not grilled chicken for sure, nothing like grilled chicken. Lettuce doesn't cost that much btw. The salad was tiny. My partner order a chicken burger and chips. There were 12 chips small skinny chips.

    This was our first time to try Smokin Bones and we had a fabulous meal. The service was very quick and the staff very helpful and pleasant and overall great value so we'll definitely be going back 😊
