   Great Place! Our first time and we will be back. We ate upstairs at the high tops in the bar area. It’s a little chatty up there but still a great experience.

   Our reservation was ready and our server was very knowlageable and friendly and perfectly timed! Our food was SO delicious and we love that they continue to try new things on the menu and at the same time we can always find our favorites, like the French Onion Soup. We continue to go here and can't wait for summer!!

   This was my third or fourth time at the Social at the Stone House. Every meal I've had has een excellent. Last night did not disappoint. My seafood ravioli was mouth-watering and decadent. I would recommend and have again. I was able to sample another entree at the and it too was excellent. The white French dressing is also worth consideration. It was Valentine Day night, and the restaurant was busy. I ordered a cocktail and it was 20-30 minutes before it was served. It also seemed to take an inordinate amount of time for our entrees to be ready even though all ordered a special. That was only a minor inconvenience as we wanted a leisurely meal. The environment was quiet and the fire was wonderful. However, I don't recall ever sitting in a more uncomfortable restaurant chair. I could never quite get a sustained level of comfort in the chair --nothing more that a flat seat and a straight back. It provided little or no support or ergonomic help. Further complicating my quest for comfort was that I was unable to extend my legs without encountering the table base. By time we left I was miserable. I know my body definitely is a factor, but I expect some more than a simple simple side chair in this caliber of restaurant. Despite all the positives, this shortcoming will definitely influence my decision to return.

   Social at the Stone House was an exceptional experience. It’s upscale and trendy but not stuffy. The food was delicious! Portions were as expected. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful and made great recommendations. The setting is unique. We’ll be back!

   This is a really cool old mansion. We ate on the third floor. The food was good and our waitress, Madeline was sweet and attentive. The acoustics with the vaulted ceilings sometimes make it sound like the table across the room is sitting right next to you. Like the whisper wall in Grand Central. Overall a cool place we will visit again.

   Our server was great and the food was excellent. The problem was the party next to us. They came in noisy and obviously drunk. One dropped some silverware and the other purposely threw silverware on the floor to follow. Blaine, their waiter, did not put a stop to it, and actually seemed to enjoy the obnoxious behavior. The loud and profane language ruined our evening. Social - control your customers!

    Nice ambiance. Food was good. Little on pricey side, but happy with quantity and quality. Try a salad, dressing homemade. Cheesecake was terrific
