Second time trying the burger in a couple of weeks - it can hold its own as best burger in vancouver no doubt!

Had only a short time be eat and drink at the bar. Told our server and got out on time. Excellent applies. Definitely going back for meal.

I made a reservation a week in advance, the day of my reservation I called around noon to confirm a few things, one being the burger order and secondly was ensuring my table was not in the centre of the restaurant, I specifically requested a table by the window/ wall. I believe it was Alisha that answered the phone and confirmed this with me. When I got the restaurant however I was seated at the exact type of table I didn’t want. This almost felt ironic. Having seeing so many other 2 seater tables by the window/ wall. I asked if we could change and the hostess checked and brought us to the exact same table, in the middle, just on the other side of the restaurant. We were seated and I felt this was extremely unprofessional as I had called ahead to ensure this. Not sure if the hostess are too young or didn’t actually make a note of the call. Our server came by and I explained I wanted a different table as the table we had wasn’t stable and the legs weren’t the same height. It was shaking if we placed or elbows or something. She realized the table wasn’t straight so then moved us to a table by the window, high seats though. Still not what I originally wanted our experience at Per Se to be. All in all the food was good but I remember it being better, I have a picture on my instagram of the pepperoni ricotta pizza and the ricotta portions are almost double big as what they are now, a lot smaller…. Seeing the pictures side by side is quiet a surprise.

Food was delicious and service was amazing. It was hard to read the menus due to the dimmed lighting, but it seems like that’s at most restaurants now. We sat in a row of tables that got a bit crowded at times. Despite this we left very satisfied and will be back.

We have been a number of times and keep coming back for the great food and excellent service. The portions are good, neither too large or too small. I had one of their great pizzas, and as usual, really enjoyed it! We will certainly be back again!

I recently dined at Social Corner and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with elegant décor and a cozy atmosphere that made for a perfect evening. The service was exceptional—our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Highly recommend to visit!

Not as good as last time, service could be better, the seat was super small, had to squeeze ourselves in……pizza and tiramisu were still the best, risotto and fish could be improved

As a first time guest, I was really looking forward to a great experience. Michelin recommended? What could go wrong. I am celiac and always review menu before booking. I knew there were only 2 pasta options but all the pizzas were able to be made gluten free. When we were seated, our server was made aware that it was my husbands 50th birthday. This was never acknowledged again. When we placed our orders, I was told they had no gluten free pizza dough. This is a Michelin recommended restaurant on valentines long weekend. I would assume they’d be prepared. Given there are only 2 gluten free options that are both meat sauce, I asked for a white sauce on GF pasta like the Alfredo they use on the pizza I originally wanted. When the food arrived, the server auctioned off our food having no idea who had ordered what. My dish was penne noodles with Alfredo sauce and a grilled chicken breast (running almost $50+tax once they charged me for the extras). It was a fine pasta but when the server did a quality check he said “I’m so glad to see the chef went above and beyond for you” as if I had made an obscure request. I wouldn’t have had to ask for a white sauce pasta if the kitchen prepared GF pizza dough and would have spent $20 less on something I actually wanted. I was highly unimpressed with the entire experience. If you’re looking for a good Italian meal with gluten free options (every time), go to Nook or Elio Volpe. They may not be Michelin recommended but this place shouldn’t be either.
