   Lovely decor and ambience. Starter and pudding excellent but very disappointed by the main. As valentines we ordered the chateaubriand as a treat £90 medium rare. It came well done so we sent it back . This was replaced quickly but in our opinion still over cooked-medium and very disappointing . We were given a free drink whilst the dish was replaced but when asked how the food was at the end of the meal the feedback wasn’t acknowledged or any apology given. We would return but would stick to a more basic affordable dish. The singer was fantastic and the welcoming glass of presseco a lovely surprise.

   The atmosphere was great, the entertainment was brilliant, the food was exceptional and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, but we were left hanging around on more than one occasion. We arrived in good time and were advised to relax with a drink in the bar area and told that someone would let us know when the table was ready and take us through to the restaurant. This didn't happen and when I asked at the bar, there appeared to be some minor panic indicating that we had been forgotten. We were led through to our table then sat there for ages without a menu, a waitress approached us to take our order realised we didn't have menus' and provided them. We ordered then it was a while before the starters came, we ate and our plates were removed, we then waited for what must have been at least 1/2 hour for our main course, I then asked if it was on it's way, the waitress checked and advised it would be another 10 to 15 minutes, which sounded as if we had been forgotten again.

   This was a bad choice for our Valentine's Day dinner. Very poor and incompetent service with inadequate facility, no cloak room hence we had to keep our long coats on our lap during dinner. We were told we can only order from the Valentine's Day Menu for £90 per couple and 30 minutes later, all other tables were ordering burgers from the al la carte menu. We sat in the back corner right in front of the singer ( she was great) however the music was too loud for dinner. I would not recommend Socialite for dinner, maybe for a drink because of the amazing view of the Cathedral .

   Mushroom risotto was delicious and there is a fantastic view of the cathedral!! It was a little chilly in the restaurant but they weren’t very busy so it may be warmer when full up? The service was very good, polite and helpful. We would definitely eat there again.

   To begin with we pre booked a table for my best friend’s birthday and my partner came up with the balloons, banners and candles prior to our visit but after asking at least twice we still turned up and nothing was put out and set up as requested, only to be told the balloons were still in the back room. Then the most disgusting food I’ve tasted for a long time. We did only have starters but It was over priced and the portions were pathetic. The staff were useless and incompetent apart from SHAUN who was great. The manager we encountered was a rude, disrespectful pig and for this reason only we will never be eating in this establishment again!!

   We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner featured on the “Festive Menu.” The service and food were excellent. The restaurant/rooftop bar was clean, trendy, and featured a spectacular view of the cathedral. I highly recommend this place for a great experience.

   Panoramic views, good service and food. Music in early afternoon much too loud for us though! Was turned down on request; we were the only ones there.

   Great atmosphere. Food better than average however didn't have our favourite chicken wing starter and my wife's burger wasn't overall hot. Great service and overall good value for money. Superb view of Canterbury cathedral as a bonus.

    The starter of Portobello mushrooms were wonderful the coating was superb Had a good meal and would recommend it to friends
