Having walked over the Bridge of Lions & down the busy street to celebrate NYE dinner with my family of 5, our first impression was a great one. Beautiful space, festive yet perfect lighting and just the right amount of energy kicked up a notch by the keyboard player in main dining room. We were greeted & seated promptly & had superb service throughout the evening by Lilli. It seems they had a special NYE menu that likely featured their fan favs as it was more limited than the published menu. They had nice salad options & we ordered 2 specials Apple/gorgonzola, 1 roasted beet and 1 capresse. We considered them more like salad entrees for their size and price @ $18 and except for the capresse where the tomatoes lacked flavor, everybody really enjoyed the freshness and flavors of their salads. A dinner salad option would be a good add for those wanting a smaller sized salad to complement the meal. Each of us selected a different entree of linguine & clams, chicken parmigiana, veal florentine, pan seared cod, oxtail papparedelle. Oxtail & cod were the best dishes overall, however, the cod was to be served with broccolini and fingerling potatoes (in lieu of the pancetta risotto due to allergy) & was substituted with green beans & without explanation from the staff but the beans were good. The remaining 3 dishes had a nice presentation yet lacked overall flavor. Overall Sogno is 5 stars for their space, ambience, service, and their food & wine menus which on our evening had many of the classics one might expect. With refinement to a few of the dishes, they could hit the mark for their mission to serve delish and affordable food, however, at their price points, this would not be a place we would eat weekly but we would certainly give them another try when back in St Augustine.

The fillets lacked flavor, and were chewy. I almost asked for a A1 steak sauce to help but at $49 it shouldn’t need any seasoning or sauce.

Enjoyed a great dinner here - first time in St Augustine. Service was terrific and our food was very good ! Chicken parm was especially good. Lobster ravioli was also good. Meatballs for appetizer were delicious ! Background piano was a tray for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

When downtown St Augustine was like a zoo, and impossible to make dinner reservations Sogno had seating. Enjoyed our dinner!

Solid Italian restaurant, with some decent unique dishes. Service was good, especially liked the bread and meatball appetizer. Salad wine selection, they had one special the evening we were there. Will return at some point.

Neither entree was as flavorful as it could’ve been. I’ve been spoiled by great Italian restaurants in Charleston. But otherwise nice experience and atmosphere.

We had a very disappointing experience at Sogno. Despite being seated fairly quickly, it took over 10 minutes just to be served water. Considering it was Christmas Day, we were understanding about delays, but the food took a long time to arrive—and when it finally did, it was cold. The presentation was poor, and the flavor was completely lacking. It wasn’t worth even half of what we paid. Additionally, the service was incredibly slow. Not only with us other tables around with same server were not happy. Our server barely paid attention to our table, neglected drink refills, and failed to address basic details. The men's restroom was also in terrible condition, with a non-functioning toilet. Overall, this experience was far below expectations. We won’t be returning.
