   Had a 7 pm reservation. Was told we would have to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. Not great but ok. Waited 25 minutes. Finally seated and then watched multiple servers walk past us as they waited on other tables. After 15 minutes a server put two glasses of water on the table next to us that had no one sitting there. So bizarre! We ended up taking those glasses of water for ourselves since no one would approach our table and we needed water. Another 10 minutes went by and still no one approached. I called an Uber and made a reservation online elsewhere and we left. I did tell host why we were leaving as they should know and he asked me to show him what table we were at which I did. Then he just stared blankly at me which was weird. As we walked out, manager (I assume) came up and said he would comp our meal but too little too late and my Uber was already pulling up. They need to train staff better here to manage tables and seating.

   Visited the Salt Lake location. 4:30 reservation for 5 and restaurant had many empty tables. We were seated after 10 minutes. Within minutes Chips, salsa, beans (which were both very spicy) were placed on our table but we then sat for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or bout us even water. There were servers everywhere but yet it was like we were invisible and had to ask for a server! Several other tables that sat down after us had already been served their drinks and appetizers! Drinks: margaritas were great Food: calamari portion was small, nothing special. Famous Carnitas were very dry, shrimp tacos were VERY greasy and soggy with too much cabbage topping (the 2 that ordered them ended up picking the shrimp out and leaving the rest) Lamb chops were tough and the side of chorizo mash potatoes were ICE cold and had to be sent back (when they came back, they were steaming hot & once we were able to fully taste them, they were very spicy), Sea Bass was very good and cooked to perfection. Butter cake…OMG, one if the best we’ve ever had! Overall, I think Sol Agave is more trendy and the food was just ok and overrated. We would consider going back but it wouldn’t necessarily be our first choice.

   Seated behind the service counter and check in desk, a bit noisy and distracting. Service, margs, salsa and chips were the highlight of the evening. Didn’t find my mole enchilada and carnitas taco to have much flavor and zero spice. Comes with a small bowl of rice and beans for $19. That was the cheapest entree on the menu. Ordered queso start but would have like to see it come out steaming hot—set up pretty quickly. Definitely not authentic Mex, more modern Mex. Probably won’t be returning.

   Food was very flavorful. I tried three different margaritas and they were all great. The sugar cane filet appetizer was ridiculously good. Don’t skip the butter cake for dessert!!!

   We made reservations and arrived a few minutes early however they got us seated immediately. Carlos our Waiter was excellent and his suggestions spot on. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection, not easy finding a meal like that in the valley let alone at such a reasonable price, not cheap mind you but fair. My wife had the Pablamo stuffed with Pork it was also excellent, very tasty and grilled just how she likes it. We were in a bit of a hurry and our food was served promptly although not rushed at all. The signature coating on the margarita was a bit too spicy for us so we won't try the raspberry jam on the rim again however we will be back for more of this excellent food and ambiance. Almost forgot one of the best things, PARKING, and plenty of it, such a relief to get there and not have to worry about where to park.
