   The meal itself was absolutely delightful, and I was impressed by the quality of both the food and the service throughout our visit. We really enjoyed our time there, and I was happy to leave a generous tip to show my appreciation for the staff’s efforts. However, I was extremely disappointed by the way we were rushed out after finishing our meal. We were there for 80 mins. It was my husand’s birthday. We had just completed our dinner and were still enjoying our time when the staff began prompting us to leave, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was especially disheartening after such a positive dining experience up until that point. While I understand that there are seating considerations, it would have been appreciated if we were allowed to finish our drinks and conversation without being made to feel hurried. I had hoped for a more considerate end to an otherwise enjoyable event.

   We had a delicious, cozy birthday lunch here! It was everything we were looking for--delicious food in a cozy environment to catch up. *BYOB* but we just opted for some sparkling water to start. All their options sounded delicious. We finally decided on Zucchine Flan for starters (fresh and tasty) and dined on Cavatelli and Gnocchi for our mains. Must try their desserts too! Espresso Affogato and Crostata. YUMMM. Neighborhood gem. Highly recommend! Staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and polite. Owner stopped by to say hello as well :) (they offer a Business Lunch menu--will need to go back to try. A more affordable option to try other menu options!)

   We were seated immediately and introduced to our server, Fabrizio. We order two appetizers, mussels and a zucchini dish that were so delicious. For main course there were 2 orders of the black pasta seafood dish and 2 orders of the short ribs, both outstanding. The owner/Head Chef came out to say hello and sampled us with homemade lemonchello and homemade gelato that was so smooth and delicious. I highly recommend Sola Osteria for a relaxing and rewarding evening out.

   Great food with excellent service! It says a lot when the chef walks around to every table checking in and saying hello to all the guests.

   Service was great. Food was good. Portions size could have been better. That’s why I gave it a poor rating for value. Apps were way overpriced at $29 &$25 each. Branzino fish was tasty and different on a skewer with more veggies than fish. I had 2 little cubes of fish for $43.. Btw Branzino is not expensive fish like a halibut would be. They could have given you more fish. This is a SHE-SHE kind of restaurant if you know what I mean. Bill was $ 143 so with tip $173 .

   Small portions, not enough variety. I think they really, try but the food needs more flavor and more and different choices on the menu. Pretty space .  (they mixed up our plates and we didn’t realize it because they were both lightly sauced pasta. So 2 people were disappointed with the wrong dish.)
