We came to Somerville for my friends birthday and the ambience was top tier! There was a live band which we didn’t expect at all and they were fantastic. Our drinks were amazing and for the appetizer we had the oysters and chicken caviar sliders! Omg the sliders were amazing! For dinner i had the bass which was a 10/10 and my friend had the ribeye. She gave it a 9/10. We were not a fan of the mac n cheese at all nor the tres leches cake but i will definitely be back! Thank you Issa

Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! This was our second visit and the food and drinks were again outstanding. The ambiance and vibe is like nothing else in LA right now. The live music sets were incredible too.

Amazing. It did not disappoint. The ambiance, food and overall experience was excellent. We had a great time. Highly recommend!

Somerville was an amazing experience from top to bottom. The ambiance, the service, and definitely the food were all great. Them being busy didn’t retract from anything The short rib was hands down my favorite. That mixed with the collard green lasagna was unmatched. The sea bass was good as well, but those two really took the cake. I also had the Golden Age drink because I mean, I can’t not get the SirDavis drink, and it was A1. I am from louisiana and very judgy when it comes to food, and Somerville did not disappoint. Just try to get a reservation sooner rather than later. I lucked up and snagged one day of but it was scary hours before that.

Loved my experience! Overall, the food was beyond amazing! The service could have have been better. Took almost 10min to get water once we sat. Took 20minutes for someone to pickup our payments once the check was dropped. The bathroom stalls could use a hook, especially in the ladies room for their bags, coats, etc. Ambience and atmosphere was amazing! The live music was the cherry on top. Would recommend over and over!

Truly enjoyed my first time at Somerville. The food we ordered was delicious.. who ever is back there cooking the chicken is doing the lords work. It was so juicy & fresh! I’d love to see them expand the menu a bit - add a seafood & pasta dish. I also felt like the dessert menu could’ve had some sweet potato pie or red velvet cake on it after all they’re serving collard greens lasagna. Overall I’ll definitely go back! The live music was such a great backdrop to a friends night out.

I was super excited to return for visit #2 after having an amazing visit in January. My only disappointment was that the menu options changed. My taste buds were set for the lamb entree that was beyond great. However, I arrived to find that it’s no longer served. The mashed potatoes were removed as well. The brussel sprouts and truffle fries were my only saving grace. I settled for the rib eye steak which was good but not as exciting as my expected lamb dinner. My wishes - add a ceasar salad to the menu as well as butter cake of some sort to the dessert menu. That’s all.

Amazing anniversary dinner! Our server was so kind (I hate that I don't remember her name!) and extremely attentive. Music was amazing. Every dish we ordered was so good! Drinks are spendy, but felt worth it for a special occasion.
