   We are lucky to live right around the corner for Somm. We enjoy heading to Somm for a date night every so often. The food is always good. I’m not much into wine, but the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade cocktail is my go to.

   This was our first time at Somm and we loved it. Our server was incredibly warm and welcoming, she did not rush us and was very good at explaining the menu. We had the pork (excellent) and the salmon (so good) along with the tuna carpaccio appetizer which was also very light and delicious. All in all an excellent evening and we will definitely be back. (PS: trying to reduce carbs for health reasons, and many of the sides are high in carbs. It would be nice to be able to substitue potatoes/ risotto with the mushrooms or small salad, etc.)

   Overall not a good experience. It was very crowded and the noise level was high. Our table was in the middle of the room and the servers had to walk around us in a small area. One of their servers tripped over our purse, coat, and then bumped into my daughter and spilled a drink she was serving. She was rude and appeared irritated because we were in her way. The area was too small for the servers to walk around. My wine was brought to our table and it took my husband’s 15-20 minutes to be brought to the table. I was very disappointed I was so excited to visit Somm. Overall the food was good but serving size for price was poor.

   We apologize for your seating on a very busy night. Your reservation was originally for 2 people, but went to 5 people the day before your reservation, so we had to figure something out for your group. That table is not designed to handle 5 guests and all of our larger tables had been booked long before your party grew. Not sure who bumped in to your table, but we will look into it, as we are known for having friendly and courteous service, and this is not acceptable. Long drink times aren't the norm either, so we will review video of your experience to take corrective measures. Once again we apologize and hope that you give us another try in the future.

   We ate here recently with another couple and were the only customers until we left. The cold and potential snow probably had something to do with that. Our drinks were good, the food was good and the service was good. We definitely will return…..again.

   When planning a Valentine’s weekend dinner, I can expect some differences to standard offerings, but if it a higher price point or very limited it would be nice to be informed. When we arrived, it was a set menu for $65/person. This same menu was offered earlier in the week for $45/person. No changes were made to include something extra or special. This was disappointing. To add to this, our service was very absent through the meal and we had to wait on her for every part of the night, including almost 20 minutes for our check. We had been here previously and loved the ambiance. The previous time we had only gotten wine and an appetizer and it was a great experience sitting at the bar. We are unsure now if we will return again after the experience we had, especially for the price point.

   Hi Kelly. We apologize for your experience. We aren't trying to make excuses, but we had a couple of our staff call off on a very busy night, as you probably noticed, so the usual experience that our guests receive was not on par for us. We strive for perfection in service and hospitality, so we are sorry we fell short in this case. The menu earlier in the week, which we always do a 3 course dinner on Tues-Thurs for $45 had similar items as our Valentine's menu, however, the portions were smaller earlier in the week, and we also added an additional appetizer and an additional entree choice to our Valentine's menu as well. We are sorry to hear you won't be back to Somm, but we hope you change your mind in the future.

   The food, service, and ambiance are amazing!!! The bone marrow bread is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Dan is very knowledgeable about wine and recommended a perfect bottle for us!!! This is truly a hidden gem and I love it!
