   The place was almost full, and we were seated right away. Service was great, they got us water right away while explaining the menu. We ordered cocktails and almost everything on the menu, including all desserts. They timed it perfectly that we didn't feel rushed at all. Everything was spot on.

   Every dish was excellent, but we especially enjoyed the fish curry. We were excited to try the cocktails. My daiquiri was delicious, but we sent back the drink with the brie washed rye. A little too funky for us but the Manhattan that replaced it was perfect.

   This place is loud and dark. We had to strain to hear our dinner companions and use our phone flashlight to read the menu. All our shared small plates were delicious: the fried chicken, the spicy pork dip with crudites, and the broccolini. We also had a "snack" called something like "cha guay" which is basically a Chinese donut. It was light and airy, not greasy. The standout in our dinner was the large plate, black cod in a light green curry. We also had the pork belly for the meat lovers in our party and it was fine. Two in our party ordered cocktails which they said had unusual flavors. While the drinks were fine, but they said they wouldn't order them again. Service was attentive. The food came out a little too fast in succession, as our table got very crowded and I fell behind on tasting each new dish that came. But this might be a positive for others.

   The overall restaurant intent is very good started with the menu , having appreciation of the Khmer culture & cuisine. Well done ! We were attracted from recent James Beard's semifinalist list release and decide to try this place. The service is efficient and attentive. Dishes flavor profiles were off the chart! From apps to main course and devilish cocktails with super authentic ingredients took us truly by surprise . Ambience has authentic cultural decors. Pricing of the food is fair for the culinary art showcase in each dish. Other than parking on the street is a little bit of hassle , rest is history. Very likely tyring this place again. Definitely has Michelin star potential.

   Wonderful experience! First time here and will definitely not be the last. Great service, food, atmosphere and hospitality! We loved it!

    Delicious food! Chicken khmeraage is one of the best dishes. Second time here and looking forward to coming back.
