Our name, SOT(솥), is the Korean word for a traditional cooking pot, the soul of every Korean kitchen. It is a symbol of warmth, nourishment, and hearty meals shared with loved ones.

Our signature SOT BAP (rice cooked in a pot) brings out rich flavours and a perfect texture using the traditional Korean rice cooking method. It’s a symphony of flavours, enhanced by the finest ingredients carefully layered.

Beyond SOT BAP, our BANSANG menu offers a complete Korean dining experience. With a variety of seasonal banchan (side dishes) and a comforting soup, each Bansang is a curated experience of Korean culinary traditions.

Description of the meals could be improved. The beef stew was more like a beef soup. I suggest having the menu online or having photos in the menu would help. My ribs tasted great. Service was good though we were served with our neighbours order and they didn't realise until we told them. They quickly took it back.

I dined at SOT yesterday, and I can't say I was impressed. We ordered the pomegranate ade drink, expecting a refreshing beverage, but it tasted more like medicine than anything else. The flat soda water and syrup combination made for a $7 drink that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. My partner opted for the spicy seafood noodles, which were just fair at best. Nothing remarkable, and certainly not worth writing about. As for my dish, I ordered the Korean-style beef tartare. Unfortunately, the raw beef didn’t taste fresh and left me feeling a bit queasy afterward. I couldn’t help but think that the dish could have really benefited from the addition of egg yolks to enhance the flavor and texture. Overall, I think this place needs to seriously improve their food quality if they want to attract more customers. If you've had a lot of good food beforehand, I wouldn't recommend coming here—it might just ruin your appetite for the rest of the day.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a lovely, well thought out meal at a thought out price to show another side of Korean cuisine that some may not be familiar with, especially the perilla seed oil cold noodles which was lovely and nutty and the naengguk with my meal I had tonight. Thank you again for the opening and definitely shall be bringing others if not me myself and I for another meal when the opportunity shows itself

Lively and felt like a homecook Korean food. Would recommend this place.

I went with 4 friends and we ordered a lot of food to share. The waitress was very kind to give us a slightly bigger portion of dessert as we only ordered one pannacotta; we were so full from all the savouries. The food and service are excellent. Highly recommend!

Delightful dinner, super staff. We went early as pre theatre and it was excellent.

I tried Daeji Galbi(grilled pork ribs), and it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. It was presented amazing and the portion was just right. I’ve been to other Korean restaurants, but this place is up at the top of my list from now.

The decor was wonderful with warm lighting. It created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. It’s a fantastic choice for a cozy dinner spot.

It's awesome. 👍🥰👏 I've never experienced that kind of food ever in Melbourne. I'm definitely coming back again very soon. Also I'll recommend "SOT " all my friends and families. Service staffs was very helpful and kindly.
