   Overall, a good experience—but not without some character development. Despite having a reservation, they wouldn’t give us a table outside, which felt like being denied entry to an exclusive club I was already on the list for. Since we had a child with us, we really didn’t want to sit smack in the middle of the chaos, but after some polite negotiating (read: desperate parent pleading), they managed to squeeze us into a spot near the kitchen. Not ideal, but at least we weren’t dodging elbows from neighboring tables. Then came the great server shuffle. It was like a relay race where each person passed us off to the next until we finally landed on our third and final server. Luckily, they stuck around, and once the service got going, it was actually pretty good—just took a minute to warm up, like an old car in winter. Now, the food? Absolutely worth the plot twists. Everything was delicious, which helped me forgive the initial bumps in the road. Since they’re a newer restaurant, I’ll cut them some slack—after all, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and apparently neither is a seamless dining experience. I’ll definitely be back, but not before checking out some of the other spots in the complex. Gotta see who else is running a reservation Hunger Games.

   Love the tzatziki and hummus with the oven fired pita bread, Greek salad and skewered meats are delicious. Enjoyed the view and the live music. Great service from Ruben!

   A perfect day to sit outside in beautiful surroundings. Lunch was very good, The waitress was excellent and we were able to take our time to visit and not be rushed.

   the restaurant is lovely with beautiful views and food was delicious. still a few kinks to work out with service as a few mistakes with the order and i asked more than once for salt/pepper which never came. i'm sure that will all settle down after this initial opening time and we look forward to returning.

   Hostess was very very nice. Servers were great. View was perfect. But the food was not impressive at all. My husband also put on the notes it was our anniversary, they did not acknowledge it. It was a good experience but a few things needs improvement

   I know that Sotogrande has only been open for a few weeks but there are certain things that should not go wrong. The menu pretty extensive and everything we had was fine except when it came to the lamb chops. When these arrived at the table they were actually cool. Clearly they sat for too long. They were remade but this time they were very well done to the point of being crispy and were extremely salty to the point where they could not be eaten. The manager was kind enough to at least comp that! I’ll give it a few weeks and then I’ll try it again.

   Very nice staff, from the reception to the server. Excellent food and ambiance, outdoors is just not for us because the volume of the live music was way high, but we were relocated.
