    South of Nicks is really good Mexican; I just had the blackened fish tacos, and I appreciated them respecting my dairy allergy. Good mocktails too, friendly and timely service

    Best high end Mexican food we’ve in San Diego! We had the filet mignon ranchero and the El Vaquero plate. The meat was cooked perfectly on both plates and the flavors were delicious! Kudos to the Chef. The service was outstanding and our server was extremely knowledgeable for our child’s food allergies. Can’t wait to go back.

    Busy but tables are far enough apart that it can feel intimate. Service was almost too good, the manager and servers, yes plural, checked on us all the time. Food is four stars, drinks could be stronger.
