Expect to find a contemporary seafood focussed menu with the very best that the South Coast and Australia has to offer. The menu is a combination of classic chip-shop fare and more worldly seafood flavours with an in-house Sushi & Poké Bar. The kitchen, lead by Executive Chef Graham Ette, prepares delicious seafood plates cooked to order, designed to share.

Disappointing Paella dish for two. Rice overcooked and gluggy, absent of any flavour and seasoning. Lacked time and love . Services was pleasant and easy.

We had a great night. The platter for two was a perfect way to try a variety of cold and hot house specialties. Fresh, tasty, zesty and creative is how I’d describe the food. The staff were attentive, professional and friendly. I recommend you try this restaurant next time you visit Thirroul :)

South Sailor can occasionally be good, is normally ok, but last night it was pretty bad. The kingfish ceviche was covered in a weird coconut cream sauce and blobs of a sickly sweet orange dressing which meant you could not taste the hero of the dish - the fish. The sushi rice was completely overcooked and there were more blobs of the horrible orange dressing on the salmon sushi dish too. The Korean chicken was ok - the chips were decent. Fortunately we had one dish which was great. The snapper dumplings. Not sure who was in the kitchen but must have been a different team to our last visit - where the food was really good. We will try again in a few months but sadly yet another disappointing meal in Thirroul.

The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The king fish ceviche was amazing as was the octopus. The flavours are always amazing.

The Bottomless Lunch was great. Food was delicious and beverages were good quality. Would definitely do it again. The male waiter was gorgeous and lots of fun.

Fresh, flavoursome food nicely presented. Good value. The only suggestion would be to train staff to give that little bit extra in terms of the initial greeting of customers and more engagement with customers (checking in to see how things are going, but not TOO much). But overall a very good restaurant as evidenced by its popularity.
