We really enjoyed our evening at the sparrow. My daughter and I dined there after a lovely evening looking at all the lights. The service was very good and we Weren’t rushed through our meal which can happen sometimes when you are a table of 2. The food was lovely , the dining room is very pretty and I would recommend it. Dining in London is pricy but this was the nicest meal we had during our stay.

I have eaten at Sparrow seven times this year and it’s generally been good hence coming back. However I will not be coming back from here in. Firstly the ambiance downstairs was non existent, the service was slow and when it came it was abrupt. The cocktails we bought were average at best and the price of the food looked higher than usually. Price for two was £400. I don’t mind that if it’s good but not for what my guest and I received in return. Overall poor.

I did email you almost the second you sent the original Seven Rooms feedback review to try to ascertain full details and to rectify the experience. I do hope you received the email. I have also tried to call you personally to discuss but I did not have an answer. Just to clarify it is not great to hear and really care deeply about our guests especially repeat clients as you are. The food was amazing, my only issue is when I requested a table upstairs or away from the kitchen they never got back to us with a yes or a sorry we cant. The table was right next to the waiters station.

Second time coming here and the food and atmosphere hold up amazingly. Extremely warm and welcoming staff. Our bartender, Martina, was such a joy and made us feel like family. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Terrible service… after trying to get someone’s attention for 10 minutes the waitress offered me a tissue when I asked for a finger bowl. The oysters were not clean at all. I ended up coughing because of all the “bits”. When asking to pay the waitress did not know how to use the pdq machine and ended up “splitting” our bill! In the end my partner had to take hold of the machine and show her how to use it: Awful experience and I will most certainly not be returning.

Fantastic reasturant, only thing its a bit pricey but it has to be as tehre are so many staff, too many in fact. The Bar on the ground floor is great for an after dinner drink but cocktails at £21 is a bit much no matter how nice they are. But the reasturant gets a 5 star all the same
