Shh....we're probably the Best Restaurant you've never heard of. Our chic, top-secret Restaurant in Ridgewood is a Delicious Dining Adventure!
NO. 12 transports guests to a prohibition-era style speakeasy in the heart of North Jersey. Serving small plates from all over the world with a wide range of shareable Tapas style, Oysters, Seafood, Steaks and Desserts.
You will love the exquisitely decorated raw bar with roughly 50 seats. We are B.Y.O.B. friendly.

Fun place to meet up with friends for drinks and tapas. You just need to be prepared for the type of dining experience it is. It’s a smaller space, maybe 10 tables. It’s BYOB so bring everything you need for your table, even bottle opener. Table Service/servers are scarce, you’re pretty much on your own, but it’s ok if you know that going in. Food was excellent, just know it will be brought out to you sporadically. Eat/share the dishes as they are served to you, don’t wait for other dishes to arrive. Fun, but loud atmosphere. Overall, recommend it

We enjoyed our dining experience and the food was really very good but Speakeasy 12 speaks of liquor and offered no alcohol option. It was definitely not straightforward on the website that it was a byob venue. There should be an update to the website details and a name change. The bang bang shrimp was outstanding and the lobster nachos were also exceptional. Service was pleasant and efficient. Only the cocktail issue was disappointing on New Year’s Eve.

Food is served tapas style, and the menu choices are lengthy. Everything we had was very good. The meatballs and lobster nachos were our favorites.

I was expecting a speakeasy.. so only BYOB.. not anything advertised .. obviously for a reason. The server was nice and said "we usually mention it when we confirm" I booked that day so never got a call. The food was clearly not a well thought out charcuterie. I say this because it was what you get in a supermarket. I have never written a bad review. The place had a cool vibe. But the music from 90's )which I love) with 3 different tv with different music. So odd. They missed the mark .. a couple of tweaks and it would have made the difference.

You need to be a detective to find an entry for this restaurant (we called to clarify:) - it deserves its name! But what a great dinner spot it was for all of us (2 couples). We decided on tapas items: all were delicious and prepared with knowledge and care. Please go, you won’t be sorry!
