   Had the mixed grill, thought it could have been better: for example onion rings grilled tomatoe and chop maybe as l have had at other pubs. Also specials board displayed with items not available.

   Our time at The Spice Ship was well received by all 12 of us. The staff were very helpfull, the food was very good, especially the stilton and garlic mushroom starter was excellent (my choice) All in all everyone enjoyed themselves, helped by the knowledgeable staff, good choice of food washed down by a drop of wine.    Excellent Sunday roast - the best we have had for a long time. Really tender beef and lots of good vegetables. Very fast and polite service. We highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

   Enjoyable sunday lunch didnot have a roast though as we didnot want one. Food good quality nice atmosphere friendly staff too will go back

   Great service on a busy evening, mashed potato was way too salty but was quickly exchanged for chips!

   We have visited many times before. This time a family of 10. Food was fabulous, all arrived together. Excellent value for money. We had the festive burger, triple stack,with Stilton and mushroom, Lasagna,and pizza kids meal.Service was impeccable. No rush to leave, like some we've visited. Highly recommend.

    Food was excellent and plentiful and staff were friendly. Only slight criticism would be the length of time it took to bring each course out , other than that it was amazing.
