Spinning Bones is a California rotisserie Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant that specializes in roasted meats with bold flavors. The focus of the menu is slow roasted meats: poultry, pork and beef, rotating on spits over high heat, and basting in their own natural juices. The rest of the menu is comprised of shareable appetizers, vegetarian side dishes, and healthier salads with vegan dressings. The principle of the menu is straight-forward: quality products that are prepared minimally and cooked thoughtfully. Spinning Bones is a brunch and dinner spot for Alameda people by Alameda people. It is a casual neighborhood restaurant open 5 days-a-week for sit down dining, take-out, and large party catering. Celebrated birthday at Spinning Bones, everything was great the food exceptional we had made plans for the house of prime rib but I can say that the quality of the prime rib was better than House. The beef was tender and flavorful medium rare kudos to the chef

Surprising that this delicious restaurant isn’t packed every night. Delicious dishes for kids and adults—don’t miss anything rotisserie, plus their chicken tenders, burger and broccolini were amazing! Service was lovely!!

If you are thinking about booking a reservation - stop thinking and do it! The food is exceptional across the board, the service is over the top, and the value makes this place a gem.

We were sooo disappointed! We looked forward to trying this restaurant for some time and had a special occasion to celebrate, so we went for Prime Rib Sunday. Terrible experience from start to finish! We were "greeted" with an obnoxious smell of detergent/cleaner (which never dissipated) and a waitress that let us know she was annoyed we were there. Starters were bland chicken liver mouse and ice, ice cold green goddess salad that also needed seasoning. Three little pigs came out cold and served on a parchment lined metal tray which disintegrated while we dined so that you started eating paper! The prime rib was done beautifully (med rare), good cut, and good portion. But is was cold and served on a pool of ice cold au jus. The "creamed" spinach was so watery that it was not appetizing. Our server was just as annoyed we were there as the woman that sat us. Lots of reaching over us to serve us dishes and they never cleared our plates when we told them we were finished. Never again!

Delicious as always! It’s Sunday night so we went with the Prime Rib (w/ creamed spinach and horseradish cream sauce), special Garlic Noodles, Cabbage Salad w/chicken and of course the Brussel Sprouts (must get). Everything was flavorful and came out quickly. Prime rib was especially on point this time - not too fatty, just the right amount of seasoning. We are early diners and it was already half full at 5:30. Only bad thing was that we were too full to even think about dessert!

Such great food at reasonable prices!! A little loud so difficult to have conversations but overall we enjoyed our dinner there.

I made a reservation, was made to wait over 30 minutes before we gave up and decided it wasn’t worth jt. This was our SECOND attempt - the first one also having reservation issues and waiting nearly an hour for our table. I won’t be going back.

Joint was jumpin', noisy with happy people! Service a bit longer do to the amount of patrons but worth the wait. Service was as good as possible and food was very very good. I had salmon over risotto, cooked perfectly for me. Eating out is expensive every where but the value for dollar spent at spinning bones is great. The servers are friendly and efficient. We will try to get there at least once a month.
