The Spring Mill Café has been serving French country fare since 1978. We're a BYO that serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The historic property features the original Spring Mill general store, and the picturesque converted farmhouse. When the weather is nice, guests are invited to dine outdoors adjacent the gardens, either on the patio or on one of the porches.

The Spring Mill station is just a few blocks from the restaurant. Just take the R6 Norristown line to the Spring Mill station, follow station road then make a right on Hector St. At the end of Hector make a right on Barren Hill and we are just a few hundred yards up on the right.

Amazing amazing amazing. Cannot say enough about the place. We are regulars for the last 3 years, but have been going for about 20 years. Back when it was hard to pay for a great restaurant, we used to save up to go. “Home cooked” French food with a hint of high end. You cannot get that anywhere in the Philadelphia burbs. Do not think twice before going, just go.

The brunch menu was delicious and my guests enjoyed everything they ate. Our waitress was so sweet and was present to make our experience special. Thank you too for the special birthday treat. Will definitely return soon.

We were pleasantly surprised with authentic and delicious French food. Very quaint and romantic. A wonderful experience and look forward to go back in the warmer months. Only complaint is the very cold draft each time someone entered or left the restaurant. They really need an additional door outside to keep the cold for guests.

I enjoyed the evening immensely. The cassoulet was superb. The bastille was excellent. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is our favorite place in Philly!
