   sooooooo good! great food and wine! we were very leisurely and it was a little hard to flag the waiter down when we were finally ready, but no biggee. so good!

   Lovely Valentine’s Day experience. The tasting menu with wine pairing was perfect. It was just the right amount of food/wine and the service was top notch. One of our favorite date spots that never disappoints!

   The food was very good and elegant. Jordan the sommelier was fantastic and made the best pairing recommendations! His service made the evening special.

   I really do not enjoy giving less than stellar reviews but my experience at Spruce was not good. I had dinner here about a year and a half ago and had a great experience. The service, ambience and food was magnificent 5+ stars. I left full and happy. I was very much looking forward to come here for dinner again. I came here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. My tuna Crudo and my girlfriend’s salad were less than stellar and lacking taste. Her chicken dish was just OK. My duck entrée tasty and was really small and even after I had 6 pieces of bread I still left restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied. The service her was kind and attentive. The ambience is also fantastic. However, I was charged about $11.50 for tapwater in a bottle. There is also a 6% service charge, which is now standard in many restaurants. Total bill was $406 including tip. I don’t mind forking up this kind of money or even more for a great meal, but this was really unsatisfying and I would not recommend Spruce and will not come back. The first time I went was such a great experience Maybe it was an off night? Maybe the head chef was not there?

   Dinner was amazing! The flavors and the attention to details was above my expectations. Wine list is on the pricy side, but great choices.

   Spruce Restaurant is one of our long time favorites for special occasions - this visit was a family birthday celebration. The three course pre fixe luncheon menu is lovely w/ lots of great options. The presentation and serving of each courses in unison by several waiters adds a special touch. The chef provided a complimentary oyster appetizer and a beautiful chocolate birthday dessert. An elegant and memorable experience for our family birthday gathering!

    Brunch service was impeccable. Food was delicious, ambiance was lovely for a birthday celebration, the caviar presentation was the best, and the attention to detail was top notch. Our server Parker was great and thoughtful. We never felt rushed to finish up. I will definitely come back for brunch again.
