There does need be signage so you know the restaurant is in the Hotel if you're booking through Open Table as we found it quite diffuse to find and only went into the hotel to ask directions and found out it was in the hotel. The Maìtre D' was exceptional and the food was enjoyable.

A relaxing atmosphere, the restaurant itself is lovely, the staff were very professional and the service excellent and the quality of the food and the presentation was very good.We have stayed in the hotel many times and usually eat in the restaurant.

Service was exceptionally slow. We was sat there for over half an hour before we even got a drink. It took nearly 40 minutes to just take our order then that was wrong because they didn't know how to deal with a gluten free customer. They tried to fob us off with a sirloin steak that was supposed to be ribeye. We asked for it to be well done and it came out bloody. Our food all came out at different times so two of us had finished our food before others had started. There was only 6 of us. If they couldn't deal with us proper because they were busy, they shouldn't have taken the booking. It was a special meal for my 65th and it was so disappointing.

Our waiter was outstanding I didn’t catch his name but he was from S. Italy. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and helped us choose perfect meal.
Great service. We had Mediterranean platter which was huge but very good value at £40 for two and we coukd t finish it

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend. The menu has a vast selection of food options which suited us perfectly as we have diverse tastes in food. The prices were very reasonable and the food was well worth the money! The service was great and We really enjoyed our visit

Have had dinner at the Stables before and returned to find the standard had been well maintained in terms of food and wine selection . However the evening was really made by the fantastic staff who were efficient but very friendly and despite it being very busy the food was with us in a very good time . I am sure we will return

Whilst a few members of staff were a little slow to serve us, the gentleman who I believe was the manager could not have been more helpful or welcoming. He ensured our fussy toddler had a fully tummy by accommodating our requests and was friendly and kind. The burgers we adults ate were delicious and great value. We would definitely return!

A pleasant meal with good service. The restaurant was almost empty so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere.

Ordered a cocktail, member of staff didn’t seem confident in making them, literally just tasted like fruit juice, no real wow factor in regards to the way it looked, just liquid in a glass, topped right up with ice to create the illusion of it being a full drink! Not worth the £9.50 considering there was only one shot of alcohol in it. Restaurant was very loud on arrival due to a large party but the noise level soon decreased as they left. Dirty wine glass on the table, took a very long time for somebody to take our order despite a lot of staff looking like they weren’t doing much and the restaurant fairly quiet at this point. Ordered two mains and two sides, the pepperoni pizza stated on the menu it came with chilli flakes, however on arrival it didn’t have any on so I questioned the member of staff to which he told us it was optional, but we weren’t even offered it as an option when ordering so I was quite confused by this comment. Disappointed by the serious lack of pepperoni considering the price (£16), possibly 8 small pieces, the base was very thick and doughy so couldn’t eat a lot of it. Visited the bar the next day just for a drink and again service very slow, only seemed to be one member of staff on the bar, quite surprising with it being the middle of the afternoon. Only ate at the restaurant due to convenience but probably won’t visit again, not for pizza anyway! I’ll stick to the Italians😆
