   Very friendly "Cheers" kind of bar/restaurant which was perfect for a Friday night supper after a 4-5 hour drive. In the lower level of an old barn-like building, and the atmosphere is perfect for burgers and wraps and salads. We had two different burgers, both were extremely good, accompanying salads as well. Get the mushroom/swiss one for sure. Great service, convivial spot, and you feel like you just came home but better . . . someone cooked for you but you are very comfortable there.

   The first night was good. They seemed to have menu items, the second was terrible. They seemed to have ran out of mostly everything which is odd for a resort of that size. Never have experienced that before. They need to replace most or all of their chairs. Most were either falling apart to the point I was worried the seat would break because it was rickety and unstable….or the top cushions were torn and ripped.

   We were there for the bi-weekly trivia night , well run and always a good time.

   The overall experience was was wonderful. Excellent service and a menu with interesting choices. The view was breathtaking. We will certainly return.

   The food was not up to usual standard at all.Beef in Black and Blue sandwich was stringy and mostly inedible.In the smoked salmon sandwich had very little salmon and not well constructed.French fries where ordinary and small in length. Certainly not well made sandwiches, obviously made by someone that can’t cook .A very disappointing experience. I can only hope that the management will make changes to the kitchen staff to ensure the food is up to a good standard .

    2 mushroom burgers ordered both over cooked and dry, fries good, 2 pesto chicken sandwiches ok side house salad with dressing bland. Children’s Mac and cheese pretty good but over priced Waitress a tad trying to hard (and spilled black coffee down husband leg and we still paid for coffee lol) But great setting
