First time we have been there for 3 or 4 years, and it is different management a beet and duck with lentils, very tasty. Yes, we can eat! Really enjoyed our evening.

Lovely as always, incredibly charming staff, beautiful setting. Marrow was absolutely perfect, the cabbage- after one bite I was devestated to realize I probably would never have that same dish again. Mouth watering to think about. Dessert was perfect. Drinks- Couldn't have asked for anything better. go, just go. no questions just go.

The dessert was excellent. The amount of sparkling wine was also the most generous and that was welcome. The rest of the food was extremely disappointing. We love 'interesting' dishes but this fell far short. The humous had no flavour and the cabbage was stringy. The bread came with no butter or oil. The mashed sardines on toast had no relation to the marrow and had little flavour. What appeared to be a caper sauce overwhelmed the marrow.

It's so funny how one review says a dish is the worst thing they've ever had then literally the very next one says it's the best! In all my years of monitoring these sights for restaurants I've never seen such polarized reviews. I don't know if it is this restaurant, this town maybe, or just the very nature of people that do online reviews has changed. Regardless it's an intriguing phenomenon but I've digressed. Sorry you didn't like us Darlene I really do wish you the very best

amazing sunday night set dinners....definitely don't go on a full stomach. worth the price. reserve in advance. be prepped to be wow'd. super yum.

The atmosphere is intimate. There is a buzz of conversation but privacy rules. The small menu is delightful. We tried half the offerings. Wine selection is good. We relied in the server's advice because the wines were small batches from French vineyards. There was no push by staff. Dinner was our speed.

Delicious food, each dish unique. Staff was knowledgeable and quick. Would go again

The restaurant was too dark and quite noisy but the service was excellent and I loved the surprise of the Mystery Feast. An experience I’ve never had before!

First timers will find the menu odd, but when the server recites the contents, it is very interesting and you will enjoy the food...the wine list is extensive, wine by the glass is a short list, wish it was longer the noise level is HIGH....but overall it is fun, great fun, just perfect for before or after theatre MAKE RESERVATIONS ....IT is ALWAYS FULL on theatre nights and most others as well

Nice venue and, the service and food were good, but grossly overpriced. Once a year for special occasions type of place, and there are lots of other places in town that are a much better value.
