Starlite is a historic San Francisco cocktail bar with nearly a century of vibrant stories. Renowned for hosting lively parties and attracting iconic figures like Alan Ginsberg, Starlite invites guests to the Beacon Grand’s 21st-floor, featuring refreshed interiors by San Francisco designer Alice Crumeyrolle. The atmosphere is set with rich velvet fabrics and a jewel-tone palette inspired by the Art Deco Era, paying homage to the city’s icons. Crafted by Scott Baird of Trick Dog fame, the cocktails are both playful and meticulously made. Michelin-award-winning chef Johnny Spero curates a menu that celebrates San Francisco’s culinary artistry, drawing inspiration from international fare. Enhancing the experience are nightly, all-vinyl DJ sets by music director Nina Tarr.

Great place, ambiance, a bit too loud for a catch up but fantastic place overall. One of the best in the city.

Our server Sasha did an amazing job and the host Lyn* always gets us the best tables! Kudos to the team!

The Starlight was almost perfect for me. Low beautiful lighting, prime seats for all except the two deuces including ours by the door. But ours was B+ nothing horrible. We got there 45 mins before our reservation and were seated early. Stunning city views. Nice dj lounge sound. Great range of prices. We ordered The Frog Prince wine which was good yet affordable at 17$. No food ordered but my 5star review was in anticipation of my next visit. Our server was warm and very attentive to me for my birthday Night cap experience.

Very different after the remodel - it's really swanky compared to what it used to be. The staff were friendly and attentive. Drinks were excellent. Seating was a bit uncomfortable for a large group - felt pretty crammed and seats didn't have a backrest to them. Food was okay. I'd recommend Starlite if you're looking to have a cocktail or two before dinner.

Service was friendly and efficient. However the drinks were horrendous. Ordered a PS martini that tasted like medicine. My friend couldn’t finish the drink. And ordered a daiquiri that was very very acidic and practically just lime juice. The upfront service charge was a surprise as well.

Took a few friends who were visiting from Canada and had the best time. The view was incredible. The vibe was amazing. Drinks were perfect. We will definitely be back. This is a must visit stop for anyone looking to have a cool night in the heart of San Francisco

I was disappointed to feel unwelcomed with my partner and talked to in a Condescendingly type of way when I asked if I could move seats due to noise level. A simple we are fully reserved or we cannot change you at this moment would have been fine. Next to us there was also a couple that started behaving erratically and staff escorted them out but they should have been cut off long before. I hope management does better I was disappointed.
