   Not what it used to be like. Much of the food was fried/salty. Good wine selection tho

   We'd been to Progress and Anchovy Bar (the other two of the Atomic Workshop triumvirate) a couple of times and loved them both. This was our first time to the flagship, and it did not disappoint... much. We arrived pretty early and the maitre d' told us it was no problem, and seated us at a table right near the door. When we asked her if we could move to a warmer spot, she said there was nothing else available, but we could wait at the bar at Progress. We did, and it was quite a bit warmer; not sure why. We did get a table at our appointed time, far from the door but not much warmer. Our server seemed robotic in his delivery of the options (a la carte off the menu and/or pointing at stuff on trolleys that went by, dim sum style) but showed great humor whenever we could get a word in edgewise. The schnitzel on the menu was lovely; everything else -- short ribs, oysters, seafood dip with chips, etc. -- was off the trolley, and most of that was even better. Conversation for your slightly hearing-impaired reporter was difficult over the other tables and the booming music.

   Had a great time last night while sitting at the bar/counter. Food was delicious. Definitely focus on the dim sum/tapas style food. Staff was friendly and courteous. Slightly odd arrival as there is not much space for waiting and the sidewalk is sketchy. Definitely will go back.

   Hadn’t made it back since the first time, about 12-13 years ago. Still amazing, still creative, still delicious, still a total original. Introduced my guy and his son, lucky college freshman, who was oh so grateful for this phenomenal food! Only bummed we missed the ribs…we will be back!

   We had a wonderful experience at State Bird Provisions in November, 2024. The food was fantastic. Everything was interesting, and intensely flavorful! Amy took superb care of us, and made sure we were out the door in time to make it to the theater. I would love to go back to State Bird Provisions, and I hope we can soon.

    10 out of 10, this place was AMAZING! The blended service of ordering items of the menu and Dim sum style with the carts was fantastic. Our server gave up great advise in only ordering a few things from the menu then waiting for the carts to come around. We went here for my wife's birthday and she was so happy we did. We will for sure be back for another special occasion.
