Station South is a destination cycle café, bar, workshop, urban garden and community hangout based in a beautifully restored train station in Levenshulme.

We serve coffee and tea, both iced and hot. Delicious cakes and bakes including our famous brownies, a wide range of drinks including locally brewed beer and kombucha and a discerning selection of cocktails, wines and a great range of delicious soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers and cocktails too.

From our fresh food kitchen we have a satisfying breakfast menu Wednesday to Sunday, a delicious brunch, lunch and evening food menu Wednesday to Saturday and we serve. top level roast dinners on Sundays from 1pm.

Our team are a warm and welcoming bunch and our unique location makes us perfect for a visit day or night. We can’t wait to welcome you to Station South.

We had a fabulous Sunday roast. They’d run out of the beef as we came late but the chicken was tasty and tender. All the veg and the Yorkshire pudding were amazing. But a special mention to the rich gravy!

My first visit to Station South and it won’t be my last. The roast dinner was absolutely flawless, cauli cheese croquette genius and service was super welcoming.

our favourite roast- still! they just get it right- best compliment we can give. Ideal for taking the kids to- nice set up

Great setting on a Thursday evening for a bunch of friends to get together for a good catch up. Attentive waiter, prompt service, tasty food. We had a cracking time and will definitely return again and again.

Evening menu is a selection of small plates or larger courses - mainly burgers. Food was good. Selection of beers and wines varied and reasonably priced. Our server was excellent and re-seated us in another area as the music in the main indoor area was far too loud to have a conversation. Only issue for us was the loud music.

Service was great as always. I was really looking forward to returning. Really nice atmosphere. I did ask when ordering could they ensure my food was hot as last time it was only warm. The food arrived and it was the last plate to come, it wasn’t really even warm, so I asked could they reheat it and it still wasn’t warm when it came back, yorkshires were over crunchy, beef was over cooked. I’ve recommended it to so many people as it was delicious last time and our new go to…. But sadly this time it wasn’t as nice. The children’s roast was also a lot smaller than last time. Staff were great. We love the venue is it a shame it wasn’t as delicious as last time. There were 14 of us so perhaps it was just due to the large booking.
