   A nice dinner but just a few tweaks would have made it great. Pacing on courses was rushed, braciole was a little overdone, clams were a little bready - fabulous wine list, terrific short rib ravioli

   Beautiful Italian place with abundant off-street parking. I appreciated the fact that their lovely bar area was separated from the dining room by a divider, so noise was kept to a minimum. Our server was spectacular, knowledgeable and patient with our requests. Favorite dish of the night was the Clams Casino but I also really liked the silky fresh pasta which accompanied my Braciole.

   Wife and I had a reservation and were seated right away, our sever was attentive and personable , drinks on point (espresso martini and a manhattan)! The apps ( clams casino and calamari) according to our server seemed to have taken a little longer than normal but we didn’t think so, they came out hot, crispy and delicious ! We changed up our drinks to a (sangria and an old fashion) these were just as good as the first 2! Our entrees were chicken milanese, hot, crispy and al dente pasta was absolutely delicious! The braciole was flavorful but tough, to me could have been braised longer. Now desert! We opted for the tiramisu…wow light, fluffy and sweet! Absolutely perfect! The slice could feed 4 people easily… overall Stazione di federal is a fantastic experience, great food and service…. We will be returning

   Valentine special was lobster ravioli. They were over cooked and arrived at the table as a bowl of pasta pieces. They all were broken and unfilled with some lobster pieces in plate. The lobster tasted like they had been cooked in pasta water 🤮. Waitress was good but didn’t ask if everything was cooked okay as if she could tell by the look of the plate she served

   Our table was available right on time even though the restaurant was packed with groups and couples in tables all around us. Alexa gave us terrific and attentive service. Both salads, caesar and beet were delicious as well as large portions. The sauce on the veal piccata was perfectly prepared and paired well with polenta. Also recommend the Pinot Niro.

   Service was fine. Food was fine - nothing special. Portions are smallish and I usually don't eat all of my entree. I ate 75% of the chicken marsala. Smallish piece of chicken and small amount of the tagliatelle. The beet salad was good. They bring you these tiny little pieces of bread - just two pieces. Not very generous. It's not a pricey restaurant but they might want to charge a few extra bucks and bring a real piece of bread. Table was awful. There were just two of us. We were seated at the back right at the entrance to the kitchen. Table was weirdly long so I felt like I was very far away from my husband and it was very cold in the restaurant. Not sure if I would go back. Not the worst but not anything special.

    Our first time here and it was delightful. Food was delicious and flavorful. Great wine list by the glass.
