We always have a great experience at Steak 48. Chip is an outstanding server. We tried a the wagyu NY and several other amazing steaks. The creamed corn and creamed spinach are so good. The popcorn desert is a must as is the cookies and cream sandwich.

This was founded by the original owners of Mastro’s and, before tonight, most of my wine buddies had been here and told me how much they loved it. “Best Steakhouse in LA” they told me! I was somewhat skeptical. Tonight, I experienced it for myself and it was truly wonderful! We had a very attentive and thoughtful server, Jess, whom I will absolutely request on my next visit there. She knows the menu inside and out, is not timid about making suggestions, and was not at all flustered by our “Sally-like” requests (from the movie with “everything on the side”!). We had one minor issue (the kitchen’s not Jess’) and after Jess fixed it for us to our complete satisfaction, the Manager came over to make sure. He was incredibly friendly; took ownership; comped dessert; and, frankly, reinforced the incredibly positive vibes I had gotten interacting with our servers and the hostesses on our arrival. All-in-all this is a fantastic restaurant with top-quality food, presented beautifully, and served lovingly. 5-Stars all the way!

I went with my boyfriend for his birthday. Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in! The food was delicious from the wonderful, buttery bread to the crispy shrimp deviled eggs, steak, and salmon. The Ultimate Vanilla Caramel cake was rich and creamy. Loved every minute of our experience!

Husband and I celebrated my birthday with another couple and we were all impressed with the food, our service and ambience. No complain. We'd definitely come back.

Almost gave 5* for the bread rolls themselves!!! We would drive hundreds of miles just for those!!! Meat was perfectly cooked (but under seasoned- sorry). Couldn’t have asked for better service - definitely 5* service. For sure worth a visit!

I had a ball place was packed on a Friday only issue I had was the au gratin potatoes they weren’t to my liking the waiter suggested them and he no problem bringing me Mac and cheese instead, the warm caramel case is a must have
