   We went to Steak 48 for probably our fifth time, and we were very disappointed. To start we ordered two appetizers and a salad. The burrata was good; when we visited before, the server told us it was made on the house. This time, the burrata tasted like it came from a plastic container from Harris Teeter. We asked the server if the burrata was homemade, and she said, unfortunately, no. Our second appetizer was sautéed shrimp Vince. The shrimp were really bad, with a very strong smell and taste of ammonia. This happens when shrimp spoil and are no longer fresh. We let the server know, and she took the plate away. A few minutes later, we received another plate of shrimp. The first shrimp I tried was good, but the second one was not fresh at all. The restaurant sells six average-sized shrimp for $45 and is trying to sell bad shrimp? Moving on to our entrées, we ordered a 45-day aged ribeye, a bone-in ribeye, and lamb chops. All the meat was requested to be medium rare. The aged ribeye was thinner than the others, and its temperature was perfect. However, the second steak was rare, and the lamb chops were extremely rare. The servers took the steak back with a cut piece to “remake it,” and we were surprised to see it returned to our table with the cut piece on the side of the plate, now extremely well done. We didn’t expect to see that. If you make a mistake, fix it properly with a fresh cut instead of reheating the steak in the broiler a second time and ruining it. The manager came to the table only after we requested the check and said he will take care about bad shrimp and steak which we sent back, he also offered us a free dessert. Really? The cherry on top was hearing our server offer her card to another table, promising them help with future reservations. We expected something similar but received nothing. It felt like we were treated differently, possibly because of our accent, making me feel adiscriminated against or because we refused to eat bad shrimp??

   Great time, good vibes. Food was worth it. Mixed feelings on the newly added roasted cauliflower. Other than that the quality of food is good.

   Some of the most wonderful food I’ve ever had! Everyone was so kind and friendly and made me feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone for the best night out with incredible dishes you won’t forget!

   This was our first visit to Steak 48 for our 5 year Anniversary and it did not disappoint. Hunter was our server and he was great and went above and beyond to make our night wonderful. He suggested some great options and we loved everything we ordered. It was so delicious! This is our new favorite restaurant!

   Had reservations got seated right away. Service was on point and right amount of attention and staying clear to let us enjoy the dinner. Food was excellent we had the bone in ribeye medium rare. Plates are hot be careful but allows the steak to stay hot.

   Not one of my best visits. With making reservations we were placed at the bar making it hard to have a conversation, mushrooms had too much garlic, and the steak was more rare than medium rare.

    Our server Abby was awesome! Food was delicious from appetizers through dessert. We went to celebrate my son’s birthday and we had a great experience. We will definitely be back.
