There was a minor mixup with my table reservation, but the staff promply addressed it. The manager even made it a point to check on me during the meal. The food was delicious, as was the riesling the server recommended. I definitely enjoyed it.

Very authentic German experience. The underground stone walls and accordion player brought me back to my time spent in Munich. The food was delicious and I loved the Gluhwein (hot spiced wine).

We were seated promptly at reservation time and our waiter was quick to introduce himself and take drink orders. We had one of the Bavarian Pretzels with bier cheese and mustard for a starter and it was warm and very good. All of our entrees were good and as ordered, and our waiter was attentive the entire evening. The ambience of the room is very nice and feels very old world. Very nice evening out.

We dined here on January 2, 2025 party of five with two elderly parents. We had a wonderful experience. The service was wonderful. The food was excellent. We tried several different beers from their tap. Great variety & people ordered at the table, the meat and cheese plate that does come with the pretzel which was awesome and then a couple people got the Brotz. Another person got like the variety plate and then there’s someone had the salad because they had an extreme allergy, which they totally accommodated. another person got the pork shank. Overall the food was amazing but the big winner was the apple strudel.

The Food was excellent as usual. Unfortunatly our waitress Cat spent most of her time at one table speaking to what I assume were friends. She kept blaming rhe kitchen for being slow. Everyone one else was great.

Have eaten here numerous times and it never disappoints. It’s no longer a hidden gem in Hot Springs because I have to reserve a table a few days in advance now. Schnitzel is always delicious and Chef McGuires sauces are always on point.

Overall good experience. Although we had a reservation, we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Food service was slow, but food was good quality. Our glasses were often empty. Overall, it took us 2 hours to get seated, get our food, and eat. Anticipate a long dining event.

Setting is very good down in a rock wall basement (kind of). Lighting was subdued, which fit the setting perfectly. The accordion player on the small stage was great on our Friday night visit. Festive music, but not too loud (and we were even seated right in front of the stage). Service was good, albeit a bit slow because the restaurant was full. The food, however, was just "Meh." No one in the family was excited about any of the food. I was actually disappointed in my veal schnitzel - WAY too chewy for veal. I probably should have complained, but didn't.
