The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 100 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths. During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.
Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. We had a fantastic experience. The food, cocktails, and ambience were great. Our server Lindsey was exceptional. She was incredibly thorough in explaining what was safe for a person in our party who had allergies, she appreciated that we were a group of friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long time and wanted to catch up and was attentive, but really gave us the time and space to talk.

Stella has the best food around these parts. The menu has options to suit different tastes and the chefs are willing to make adjustments for individuals needs. The only thing that is irritating is being forced to pay the $30 valet fee to park nearby. If it wasn’t for that Stella dining experience would be perfect!

The service was fabulous. The ambience was trendy. I especially valued the lack of excessive noise. It was easy to have a conversation without having to raise your voice. Unfortunately the food was just okay. The pancakes were overcooked and should not have been served so well-done. The Irish coffee omitted the cream nor was any available. Cream is an essential element of the drink. I ordered eggs Benedict with pork roll which was very thin and very overcooked. The hollandaise sauce was bland - not the flavor I was expecting. In addition there was not much sauce. I would not go back to this restaurant.

I was there on Sunday to celebrate my mom’s birthday and she was so happy. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. I will definitely be back.
