Welcome to Europe's, and possibly the world's, most innovative wine bar! Utilising all new technology, select from over 700 wines by the glass - perfectly preserved and tempered - from any of the world's greatest regions, producers, and vintages - many from large format bottles - paired to the finest international products available; be it stinky cheeses, aged Japanese Wagyu sausage, Iberico Bellota Ham, Rillette of Pheasant, Hare, or Boar. Begin with a glass of bubbles and a Seafood specialty, from Lobster Cream with Cognac to Cedar-smoked sushi-grade white Sardine filets, olives, etc. Highlights include two signature dishes, Burgundian Oeufs en Meurette or Confit Duck Cassoulet a la Toulouse, Street Food-style Mexican Elotes as a side, and an Italian-Style tomato salad. Sunday starts earlier, at 15:00 with a menu of Gourmet Grilled Sandwiches and Lobster Bisque, and "BOBO" is the policy - Bring One, Buy One, for the collector-enthusiasts eager to show off their most prized bottles.

    Hatten heute über open table einen Tisch reserviert, gestern wurde noch einmal eine Reservierungserinnerung rausgeschickt mit der Nachfrage, ob wir wirklich erscheinen. Heute standen wir pünktlich vor dem Restaurant, leider mit der Enttäuschung, dass es geschlossen war. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man extra 25 Minuten mit der U-Bahn angefahren kam.

    Fantastische Weinbar, mit einer unfassenden Weinkarte und mehr als 800 Weinen die auch - mittels Coravinsystem - glasweise ausgeschenkt werden. Preise für 0,1 variieren zwischen 5 und 200€ bei den top Weinen, wobei das Mittel so bei ca. 15 - 30€ liegt. Sowohl Justin Leone selbst als auch sein Team haben einen super Job bei der Beratung gemacht und sind auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen - ohne dabei verkaufen zu wollen, oder steif zu sein. Wirklich chapeau. Der Kunde ist hier König, aber fühlt sich eher als Freund des Hauses.

    Sticks & Stones hat sehr viele offenen Weine, aber der Preis pro 0,1 Glas ist recht teuer! Zudem war die Musik sehr laut, so dass ein Gespräch schwierig war. Die Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam und das Essen war lecker.
