   We wanted to try the new Battersea location despite the negative reviews, but we wish we hadn’t! So many teething issues at this restaurant! Tables in our section way too close together so no room for the waiters to move between tables without pushing chairs/stepping on coats etc. The lights above the tables were too low and made it difficult to look directly across the table. Service was crazy slow (had to wait 15 mins by the door to get to our reserved table….) & we weren’t approached once the whole night, we had to stand up and get a member of staff for everything we needed (drinks, food, more drinks and the bill etc). Didn’t feel like they had allocated sections of the restaurant to specific staff so was all a bit of a free for all. Such a shame as we love sticks n sushi but this new one clearly is not at the same level as the other locations. The staff don’t know the dishes very well either. This is a reputable company with expensive but good food - however, the service at our meal totally did not meet that of what you’d expect at a £165 dinner (for two). Such a shame and just hope they take on all of the feedback as it’s letting the reputation down.

   Overall, our experience at the newly opened Battersea Power Station branch of Stick'n'Sushi was very positive. The food, as always, was the highlight, which is why we continue to return. However, there were a few issues that slightly impacted our celebration. We had to wait quite a while before we could even place our drink order, and one of our guests had an extended wait for their starter while everyone else was already enjoying their main courses. It would have been ideal if all the food had arrived at the same time. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which helped make the experience more enjoyable.

   Dry poor service. We were seated and waited for over 15mi s without anyone comming to the table for a drinks order. Way too many tables for number if staff. This is basically an expensive version if Wagamama.

   I dined at the Battersea branch Friday the 6th. The place was packed. My special thank you goes to the wonderful hostess (sadly I didn’t ask the name but the lady was from the Canary Wharf branch). The restaurant was fully booked, yet the system would still show availability. She knew about the problem, yet she was very calm, handling all customers professionally. Despite being crazy busy she accommodated me and my friend after a 10 min wait. The food was excellent and served very fast. Rest of staff are very welcoming and friendly. This is what makes a place to stand out - well done to the team!

    Ambience was good - much like the other venues. Food was 10/10, very well presented and tasty. We had a couple of issues with drinks but it was quickly fixed and no issues at the end of the meal with the bill! Service is quite slow but I guess as a new venue it's expected as servers are probably still on a learning curve. Advice re cocktails - stick to what they have on the menu, classics haven't been mastered yet but it's not to say in the future it won't be. Overall I give whole experience 7/10
