    We really enjoyed our meal at Sticks’n’sushi. The menu offers a great selection and everything we ordered was delicious. Good drinks menu too. Service to our table was excellent and very friendly, but there was one server in the restaurant who screeched loudly, which was slightly unnecessary. I thought the menu was good value and would definitely return.

    Japanese food has continued to grow in popularity and many restaurants now provide dishes that use ingredients which convey a reasonable approximation to the cuisine. However, Sticks 'n' Sushi goes so much farther than this. Goma is not rare, nor indeed, is a chef's own version of the sauce, but to include a pinch of vegetal charcoal and to balance it so perfectly with other elements for that seductive texture and flavour is a fine art. Each of the small plates I shared on Saturday had that buzz...the matcha fondant within chocolate sponge, accompanied by vanilla ice cream and topped with matcha crumble didn't just tease cameras from pockets, it tasted very, very special. That should be enough to make a visit memorable, but then there were the attentive members of the service team and my view of busy chefs from a counter stools. All in all, this place just has it. I guess it's why we have birthdays and share them with the best of company. Thanks guys, you and your food gave me a great night.

    Some of the hot dishes were cold. One of the waitress was picking her nose in the dinner hall. Toilets had no toilet paper and were very dirty

    We booked sticks n sushi as a celebratory treat having been to the Wimbledon restaurant in the summer. Unfortunately the food and service wasn’t nearly as good in Covent Garden and we left feeling disappointed that we had spent so much money on an average meal. The broccoli was over cooked and the sushi platter was warm. It was very busy at lunchtime and the staff were rushed off their feet.
