    If you're a parent with young kids (3yrs+), get ready for a chilled family lunchtime experience you’ve probably never had. Every Sunday, 12pm - 4pm, at our newly opened Sticks ‘n’ Sushi on Upper Street in Islington, The Kids’ Table team is in residence to entertain your little folk with creative fun while you enjoy a long, leisurely lunch of sushi and sticks from the grill. Book a table and request The Kids’ Table, complimentary to all of our dining guests. Minimum age 3yrs and over. Please note how many kids you wish to use the kids table within your booking. Kids menus at Sticks’n’Sushi start from just 10 per bento box, choose either sticks or sushi, or both for 12.

    Always reliable, the food was particularly good last night especially the shake tataki, the hell’s kitchen rolls and the sticks. Really nice service too.

    There is a very wide choice of delicious Japanese food. We were there for a special occasion as the food is not cheap but it is excellent. There was a slight problem getting a printed gluten free menu but it was sorted out eventually. It is better to have a printed version as looking it up with a Q code is rather fiddly.

    The staff are always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is excellent and as a vegetarian I’m well catered for; I have to be greedy and order 2 plates of the mushroom croquettes, they are fantastic. There are plenty of well thought out sharing dishes which are great for a group and the prices are very reasonable for such consistent quality. This time we had cocktails and watching the colour of our ‘Purple Rain’ change when the waiter poured in the tonic added to the fun. Will be back soon.

    I love Sticks N Sushi in Islington. The food is excellent and there is a lot of choice at all prices but this time I found the service was not very good. There were only a few tables occupied and most of the time, we could not see any staff members around. Hopefully next time we go it will be better. Previously the service had been excellent but this time I could not see any of the staff we had before and the server who attended to us was very new.

    This is a relatively new restaurant from the chain and the staff clearly needs some training. It took quite a while to get orders in and the food wasn't quite up to the price level. The Nigiris for example were rough, with a lot of rice and the fish poorly cut. Stick 'N Sushi is always a joy but this one left me a bit disappointed.
