Our first restaurant opened on Nansensgade in 1994. In the cozy basement, Copenhageners were greeted with “Irasshaimase” for the first time – a tradition we still uphold. Reserve a table or order takeaway, and experience where our journey began.

We were received in the restaurant with great smiles form everybody. Food was fantastic and our waitress did an amazing job.

I enjoyed the food especially since I work at sticks n sushi at Frederiksberg and I learned a few things and now I can be a better waiter than I was before. Food was amazing would recommend the skake teriyaki.

We ordered some mentes, and the dinner was organized by the waiter with starters, sushi and sticks. All presented nice and explained by the waiter. Very nice. The food was well prepared and tasted excellent. During the dinner the waiter was servicing when needed with a big smile and nice comments. We felt welcome. Ended up with a nice desert. Highly recommended.

Although there was very limited space and we were late in organizing, the staff was extremely cooperative and helpful. Food was amazing so the service. We loved it.

Overall the food was very good. We though had uneatable padrons because they were so spicy. We didn’t have to pay for them, after complaining. We were though fully charged for extra water that was necessary because of the spicyness. We also got the wrong dish, but the waiter realized and came with the right one. Moreover we waited more than 35 min to get our food. The rest of the food was lovely and the people showing us to the table was very kind.
