Bringing a dash of Danish-Japanese style to the Shoreditch High Street and the neighbourhood’s already vibrant dining scene.

There’s lots to look forward to. An urban-cool restaurant that mixes Danish Hygge with Japanese aesthetics, where you can dine and unwind. As well as our classic menu of creative sushi, grilled yakitori sticks and meticulously mixed drinks.

Where Saturdays come with bold flavours, resident DJs eclectic beats and flowing drinks, all designed to share with friends. From 12pm to 4pm, book in to the new Bottomless Brunch experience inclusive of 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks* @ £70pp. Limitless drinks are available for 90minutes from the first drink served. Limitless packages available for whole table only, minimum two guests. No substitutions allowed. Your drink will be replaced once it is finished. Price is per person and drinks cannot be shared. Good meal overall, venue is very nice but music is a bit intrusive, I love house music but don't need it playing loudly whilst I eat my dinner.. We shared the "Set for Success" meal which is supposedly for 3 people, it was very tasty but barely filled 2 people and was quite expensive, service was very good and although we had a long wait for our drinks the waitress comped us a free dessert which was fair, overall a nice but fairly expensive night out. Will try another branch and see how they compare.

I don’t think they managed to hit the spot with all of the dishes we ordered. The crab croquettes were hot and crispy in the outside but luke warm on the inside. The chicken karrage, hot and crispy on the outside but luke warm and watery inside. Both would have been perfect if cooked slightly longer. Underwhelming: Sushi rolls. Lacking flavour, difficult to distinguish one maki roll to the other. Seaweed salad was let down by the dressing. Mild to bland when it should have been tangy and punchy. Dishes done well: Ebi prawns, cauliflower, mackerel on skewers. A real shame not all the culinary skills have not been transferred from the Soho branch. More miss than hit at Shoreditch. Looking forward to improvements.

Lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff who were very attentive and service was great. Unfortunately the food wasn't quite up to expectations. In particular the sticks were not great. Very dry and what felt overcooked, both the fish ones and the meat ones. Had to leave a few uneaten.. Sushi dishes were better. The sides/starters were the best (Broccoli, edamame etc). Also good was the sliced beef and the dish of the day (beef stick with sauce). It wasn't great that they classified the dishes as starters, sushi and sticks and couldn't deliver all at the same time, which meant half of us were watching the other half of the table eat... We were 4 people who ordered a lot of food, so we were there a long time. Overall a fun evening, it was a birthday celebration, and the cocktails and wine was good. Staff excellent. Not sure I would go back in a hurry. Expensive for the quality of cooking...

Well when I booked my table at 6:30 I was not expecting to have so many tube delays and cancellation nor did I think there would be a swan on the line either ! So when I knew I was going to be late I contacted the restaurant to say that I know they have to hold the table for 15 mins but I will be 5 mins after this and if that was fine ? The lady on the phone was very polite and helpful she said that would be fine and a note would be made on my booking, but when arriving at restaurant to apologies for being late we was greeted with a very rude man that then typically said that it would be difficult to seat us now ! When gave reason for being late he said everyone says that as though me calling up and saying sorry wasn’t good enough ! When spoke too so badly at the start of your meal kind of ruins the vibe and atmosphere of the whole meal. We was told he could seat us at 7 and would be the table back by 8 which we said was fine and understood ! Our waiter was lovely she was ver tentative and very fast taking our order and bring food over as we did have much time ! But sadly it was ruined once a again when the rude man that seated us then came over dead at 8 saying ladies need the table now which we responded we are waiting for bill ! We had nothing on our table and had asked for a bill 15 mins earlier and was just waiting for some service. The man was once again rude when taking the payment for us he retrieved our bill and didn’t even let us look at the cost before waving the card machine in font of a faces, we wanted a second to look at bill and work out splitting it and make sure that everything was correct on the bill I know he needed the table back but I thought was very rude and we had actually been waiting around for 15-20 mins for the bill already to then he rush when it was inconvenient for him ! I am not sure I will be visiting this branch again as this experience has ruined the vibe and feeling there ! I hope they work on this otherwise they will loose custo

Excellent food, incredibly well presented. Service was attentive , but not overwhelming. Overall a great dinning experience.

Absolutely exceptional flavors on all dishes seafood and raw, sampled the Valentines menu and was pleased with the freshness of ingredients, intensity and pairings of flavor, and medium portion sizes given the higher end nature of the ingredients. Servers were pleasant, ambiance was gently lit and spacious, and a big shout out to the lobster-with-ikura bisque, the wagyu tartare, the exceptionally green-tangy-tasting hamachi, and the miso black cod maki that was the best bite of the night.

Delicious food and service was also great. We had salad, sushi platter, various starters. All dishes were freshly prepared and flavours nicely balanced.
