    Amazing food, interesting cocktails , great atmosphere. Our server was very hard working and did not miss a beat even though they seemed a bit short staffed. The metal chairs were a bit uncomfortable but it did not ruin the evening. We will definitely return.

    Just not good all around. Waitress was nice enough but certainly not properly trained. She may have said “definitely” a million times during our shared experience of terrible service from both the waitress and the kitchen staff who had obvious issues. Most of our food did not show up and then the food that did show up was late and mediocre to say the least.

    Stir was... adequate. We were looking for a romantic dinner out and had been told that Stir was a good Date Night restaurant... the fact that it was all nearly all high tops was NOT what we expected. The food was okay, but again, nothing extraordinary. What was surprising was how great the musician was - according to the schedule - it was Doug Thompson - and he was impressive.

    Lovely restaurant. The decor is very ne England. The food was fabulous though my chicken gnocchi pesto was Luke warm. My husbands chicken and waffles was piping hot and excellent. We did not know this was a brew pub and would have liked to have had the wait staff explain to us and describe the difference t beer like they do I. Portsmouth bre pubs. Beer was quite good. My cocktail was good too I shirt this restaurant is a very good place for special occasions as well as everyday date nights. I cannot wait to go back and check out their small plate menu. It is quite eclectic and looks very interesting.

    First time in and we loved the space as well as the food and drinks. Really great craft beer on tap and an amazing selection of creative and fun mixed drink options, many not even listed on the menu. A great selection of original and delicious sounding dishes, as well as some old favorites with a twist. The firecracker nachos were amazing. Service was top notch and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit. Stir is a welcome new addition that really raises the bar.
