   Because of heavy traffic, we thought we would be late. We attempted to call 3 times (20 rings each time) with no answer. We found a sliver of wood about 1.5 inches long in a serving of asparagus. Our server, Taylor, was terrific about handling this experience. The manager offered us a piece of cake as compensation. Food was quite good and served at proper temperature. Wine list is decent and reasonably priced. Best thing was Taylor's service.

   Was seated right away. Waitress was helpful with going over menu. Food was good. Chicken strips were very salty but nice crunch. Waffle delicious. Omelette was eh. Nothing extraordinary about it. Shrimp & Grits were very flavorful. Shrimp were slightly overcooked and i wish there was tasso and larger pieces of mushrooms. Had the Blue Point oysters. Very fresh ice cold. Best overall dish. Had to find someone for plates for the Brunch bar and when i grabbed a plate is filthy dirty of food scraps. Question if any of the plates had actually been cleaned. Overall would come here again.

   Host was extremely rude. You could tell they were out of sorts. Said my reservation couldn’t be accommodated at the time because others were there. What? Service was horribly slow, food took almost an hour to even get the appetizer. This place has went downhill!

   My wife and I are big fans of Stir and have eaten there many times. As usual, the food and service were on point and we had another good experience. The only thing that caused a 4 star vs. 5 star review is that they were out of a bourbon that I ordered and the entree that I ordered, which was a bit disappointing for early on a Friday night. Other than that we had a good time.

   Food and drinks are subpar. Ambiance is ok, but the food is just plan bad. I got a cocktail that came with ice - oddly, the liquid itself was hot. Hot enough for the drink to take quite a while to even cool down. I'm not sure if the alcohol bottles sat in the sun or what but it was not pleasant. The glass being so sticky didn't help. We got the cheeseburger eggrolls as an appetizer - maybe they would have been decent but they were so over fried, that it was hard to bite through the outer wrap. For my entree I ordered the "steak frites" and apparently "medium" translates to very well done on steaks there, and the quality of the beef is pretty low. The house made steak sauce is horrible and the many of the fries were almost raw. The burgers are bland and even the water tasted funky.

    Consistent experience. Server was good. Food was good. We sat outside because it was a nice day. I’ve been coming here for a while and it seems the prices have gone up exponentially, but the food quality is not in alignment.
