   We came here for my friend’s birthday and it was great. The food, the DJ, the drinks and our server, Brandy all made for a wonderful evening!

   The food is very good (halibut fish and chips), nice starter to share with shrimps and calamari. Good wine. Excellent service. But the music was too loud during 45 min and then they reduced the volume to a decent level. A good restaurant I can recommend

   Over priced for basic food and portion size. Service was not great. Extremely loud, impossible to hold a conversation. Won’t be going back to this steakhouse.

   If you're looking at this place for steak in Boston, STK is a big avoid. The prices this place charges for the portions and quality you get are absolutely outrageous. The food is on par with Davios but about double the price. For the money, you can dine at Mooo, Del Frisco's, or Capital Grille and get far better food for a comparable price. Restaurant is also loud and definitely more of a hipster, energetic type of place vs what you generally get out of a steak house. Vibe wasn't for me, but the food was only mediocre, and for the value you get, it's pretty terrible. If you eat here, you'll be satisfied, there's much better options in Boston.

   Bartender was a nice guy but the cocktails were not very good. Ran out of Eagle Rare but took 20 minutes to find out they didn't have it while we waited. The ambiance felt dated even though it's STKs staple interior. The Ol' Fashioned produced had chip ice and was light in color. We sent it back after a couple sips. Decided to pull up stakes and go to another place instead of eat dinner there. THe couple apps we had were pretty standard fare we could get anywhere and were decent but nothing that would be an STK brand highlight. All in all it's a very dated experience that seems mismatched with Boston. Abe and Louise, Grill 23, Cap Grill, Strega are all far better experiences.

   We tried the sliders, tuna taco app, salmon, mushroom risotto. truffle fries and corn pudding. I believe the only thing we would get again is the corn pudding though there's more I want to try. Definitely expensive which I don't mind paying but when the food is mediocre and water refills are hard to come by, I'm not rushing back.

   My wife and I dined here on a Sunday evening l, we had a gift card from a family friend and were excited to grab a nice steak dinner. First of all, a lot of the Google reviews are clearly fake. I know they’re not the only ones who do this but it’s pretty egregious. The vibe inside is very loud bass heavy music. Compared to something like Moo it’s trying to be “trendy” and maybe appeal to a younger crowd (we’re in our 30s and didn’t love it). It took the 3 ladies at the front about 2 mins to figure out where to seat us, which was weird since we were on time for our res and it wasn’t busy. Our server was nice enough but clearly inexperienced. My wife is celiac and she struggled with communicating what she could and couldn’t eat. We asked for one additional minute to look over the menu and she disappeared for 10mins and we had to hound her down. She poured my beer into a glass like she had never done this before in her life creating a huge head of foam. Overall just very inattentive and honestly pretty shockingly bad service for such a “high end” place. We got oysters to start which were decent, and both grabbed a steak medium rare. Hers was very good but not amazing, mine was good but cooked medium and not medium rare how I had asked. Finally when it came time to pay the bill with our gift card, we had to wait 15 minutes for her and seemingly the entire restaurant to try to figure out how to use it. We then went to tip using our card and this too bewildered the staff and took 10 minutes of awkward waiting. Overall just a weird experience and surprisingly incompetent staff. Were it not for the gift card we’d be really disappointed to spend so much money here.
