   My first time at this restaurant I went for a birthday celebration for my boyfriend. We enjoyed the food, and the happy hour menu was the best that I've ever seen. The regular entrees were pricey so bring a date or make sure you have atleast $150 per person. The service could be much better for the price of the food. Overall we had a nice time, and great food!!

   Simply lovely venue (and comfy), wonderful service, delicious food and drink and happy hour all day long on New Year's Day... it's STK - what's not to love? ;D Still the blue cheese butter could be more cheesy, and the Blue Iceberg could take a page from Las Vegas' playbook. The peeled pickled tomatoes are everything!!! I've been to the SF location probably a half a dozen times since it opened. I've been to the Vegas location at least that many times. I've also been to NYC and Orlando each only once. Las Vegas wins by a landslide really. SF is the closest 2nd. But overall STK is a good place for an upscale meal.

   We chose STK in SF because we had a wonderful time at STK in San Diego and thought it would be the same in SF. We were wrong. We dined here on New Year's Eve so I am hoping that the sub-par service that we received is not the norm. The entire staff seemed overwhelmed. Front desk hosts were not very friendly; in fact they were borderline rude. We checked in 10 minutes early for our reservation and were told that we would be seated as soon as the table was ready. 25 minutes later I went back to ask about our table and was told that I had already checked in and they were still working on the table. I got the feeling that they forgot about us. We were seated about 10 minutes later. Service was very slow, our waiter spilled red wine on one of our guests and then forgot to order two starters. They also mixed up our orders and placed plates in front of the wrong guests. Prices were inflated for NYE which I guess is to be expected but $104.00 for a 10oz filet and $85 for a bowl of pasta seemed excessive. The bathroom situation was horrific - both the men's and women's restrooms were filthy and without basic supplies (toilet paper, paper towels), the garbage bins were overflowing, and one toilet in the women's restroom was overflowing and flooding the floor. I alerted an employee to the situation but it hadn't been addressed when I used the restroom again at the end of our meal (almost 2 hours later). It felt like they were not prepared for a full house on NYE. I hope they do better on a normal busy weekend, but I won't return anytime soon to find out.

   Es un lugar agradable de vista, pero muy poco transparente en los costos de lo que te ofrecen los meseros. Cada cosa que te ofrecen por lo más mínima que parezca tiene un costo. Además aunque tú mediques que que quieres las cosas de cierta forma, siguen insistiendo en cómo hacerlo a su manera, lo cual incomoda. La comida es regular tanto a nivel de calidad como tamaño de porción. En total es un restaurante que no ofrece suficiente valor en relación a lo que cobra.

   Lindo el lugar, la comida muy rica con buen ambiente y buen servicio, estuvimos afuera y los calentadores eran suficientes, no sentimos frío para nada.

   I regret coming here for New Years Eve. Admittedly, I was just under 10 minutes late to my reservation and was told I had to wait. No problem. The issue was, I waited a good 15-20 minutes before getting seated. With similar circumstances, I’ve never had a restaurant made me wait that much longer before. But I told myself, “Hey, it’s NYE. Be understanding.” It was a day to splurge and celebrate the end of the year so I started off by ordering the holiday martini. 5-10 minutes later, I was told they ran out. I had already experienced how unprepared they are and didn’t even take my first bite. Told myself to keep my spirits up and order the one of the most expensive cuts on the menu, Australian Carrara Tomahawk with truffle butter sides of brussels sprouts and tater tots. It took forever to get my order but I quickly forgot about it once the torch show to melt the truffle butter took place. However, the ooh’s and ahh’s were short lived as the crust was bitter due to the burnt crust. What was surprising was that even though I ordered medium rare, the middle was raw. I didn’t want to risk sending back and receiving an overcooked steak so I settled with it. This proved to be a huge mistake as I had an upset stomach. Instead of watching the fireworks at the stroke of midnight, I was sitting on my toilet just listening instead. It’s been more than 6 hours since I left the restaurant and I’m still sick in the bathroom. On the upside, the server Yasmin was nice and paid attention to my requests. The brussels sprouts were the highlight of the night, funny enough. I wasn’t impressed with the tater tots as they were not crispy. I came here because I was craving for tomahawk and STK is close to my home. Should’ve picked something else instead. Coming here on a busy day was a mistake. They need to retrain whoever was cooking steaks for that night so people won’t get sick in the future. This meal was not worth the $600+ that I paid.

    A bit of a Vegas feel to it. Overall, quality meat and oysters. Wine suggestion was spot on!
