STK was always a place me and my husband had planned to go to . And what we had encountered was very disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes early , was told to wait at the bar . No problem . Was poured the wrong drink . Didn’t get seated untill 15 minutes after our reservation time. The bread tasted more of a pudding bread rather than an appetiser. The quality of food compared to the price is not understandable. The steak was over seasoned and ended up coughing on peppercorns . And both steaks were overcooked to what we asked . Our bill came to £231 , for two starts , two sirloin steaks . Two wines and two cocktails. That were not anything special.

Great location. Nice establishment. Good bar service and good table service. Wasn’t busy lunchtime. Food good but prices are very expensive. £10 each for some sautéed spinach or a few broccoli stems is laughable. £58 for a 350g ribeye with no chips is also expensive. But it’s a good location. Ambience better in evening.
