   This was easily one of the worst dining experiences….if you can even call it that. We arrived for our 1:15pm reservation for 10 people celebrating an occasion for my father in law. We were the only table inside the entire restaurant. Two tables on the patio. We waited 10 min for waters; received overcooked bread and finally ordered drinks and all food 15 minutes later. Fast forward 1hr and 30min….we have not been revisited by a server, we have no appetizers, no food, and no more bread that was offered to us. After inquiring as to the issue we were told the intense delay was “due to our modifications”. The only modification that was made to the entire large order was 1 person asked for the eggs to come on the side instead of on top of their avocado toast. And one person asked for the egg on the side of their burger. That’s it. We were extremely dissatisfied as no one seemed concerned or responsive in the least. Then we were approached by a staff member who just arrived asking if we need “boxes” to which we were stunned because nearly 2 hours in we saw not a morsel of food. Our party got up and left the restaurant. The server and bartender were very unhappy with this decision, the hostess had no clue what was happening. One employee was apologetic. It was the worst dining experience I could have imagined. I will never go again and I will very strongly discourage anyone else from ever eating there.

   Over price food, nothing special with the food I feel u can get way better stakes for half of the price. Waitress was real nice but the food wasn’t what you expect for those prices.

   Dining in the bar area is difficult if you wish to carry on a conversation. The music is loud therefore everyone is talking loud. It was difficult to hear the server. The meals were good but overpriced.

   Had a Saturday lunch reservation at 1:00pm. We were seated immediately and soon visited by our server. Went downhill from there as we didn't see anyone for awhile and then our "new" server came out to introduce himself. Food was good but service was lacking. Nothing more frustrating then wanting something and not seeing anyone to help. The restaurant had only two tables seated inside with two couples and we were one of them. The table next to us was having service issues as well. Dissappointing when your spending $100 a head for lunch.

   Drinks and food are overpriced and food quality is mediocre at best. $30 for a small, overcooked and rubbery portion of calamari, served with a sweet sauce that you can buy at any food store, is ridiculous. A six-ounce filet for $71 was high compared to the 10 ounce filet you can enjoy for less at Capital Grill was edible but no value or quality for price paid. Side of corn was okay but nothing to make you want to visit STK again. If you want a great, well-cooked prime steak, go to Capital Grill or Steak44 and you’ll be much happier!

   Menus were dirty, waiter was mad that we didn’t order appetizers and went straight to entrees. Never checked on us after we received our food. Table location wasn’t great considering the restaurant was empty when we arrived. Food was bland. Ended up down the street at Mastros for dessert. Will not be back to this location nor any others.

    Watch your bill. I did not look at the itemized bill till we got home, and they had charged two $23 drinks we did not order. With tax and tip, that was easily an extra $50. I called immediately and asked to have it reviewed. They took my information and I have heard nothing. It was not busy when we were there. There was maybe three or fours tables at best on the patio where we were. I feel it went it someone's pocket. I mean if we are paying over $700 with tip, guess they were banking on us not noticing. While I enjoyed the food, I will not be back. I have been to many steakhouses in Scottsdale, none have ever overcharged me. The lack of concern for my request means they do not feel the need to provide customer service.
