A very uneven experience. The host was terrific getting us seated and helping our 95 year old mother to her seat. As we were ordering my wife inquired about the prime rib and the waiter said they were running short. We asked if he could place an order right away for my wife before the rest of us ordered. He said they were saving one for him. He took our orders only to return and say they had run out. Poor form all the way around. The rest of our food was very good but the service was adequate at best after that and my wife ended up w/ a cheeseburger which she really didn't want. Sad that a restaurant of this quality can't anticipate demand for an item that is highly desirable. Beyond that, it would have taken no time for the waiter to run back to the kitchen and place my wife's order. Not to do so meant he shared part of the blame for the poor performance of the restaurant. By the way we placed our orders at 630 in the evening so it wasn't like it was the end of the evening.

Table of 4. Planked Salmon was rubber. Steak Special was an awful cut of meat and overdone. Stuffed shrimp was ok. Onion soup and chowder was pretty good. They took the salmon off the bill. The service was great.

Love this place. I have never had a bad meal. Service is top notch. We had Roberto and he was attentive without being intrusive. Best Bruscetta anywhere and the Asian Salad is amazing. I special order the chicken to be hot and grilled, served on the side and just like that, it is done my way perfectly. My DH loved the French Dip, and we have also had the Prime Rib and it is excellent. We drive 25 miles to come here and it is worth it.
