Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis.
Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Saturday and Sunday morning we offer brunch from 11am-3pm. We have a Main Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Kids Menu.

                                                                                                    We made reservations on Valentine's Day and selected a prix fixe option. Being vegetarian, this is a relatively new favorite. Our server, Thomas, was very attentive and made sure what we ordered was indeed vegetarian. The first delivered item was not. That was quickly corrected. Overall, the Stray Dog is definitely worth the drive.

                                                                                                    Very kitschy place with interesting original dog art on the walls everywhere. Food is average for a bar/restaurant with burgers, etc.

                                                                                                    Our server SEVERELY messed up our order. And then argued with us that she was right and we were wrong. It took something like 5 attempts for our group to finally get their correct order. When we informed the manager he also began to argue with us and defend the server. Burger were alright. Fries terrible. Service absolutely unacceptable!

                                                                                                    Food was delicious. Decor was interesting. Service staff was very nice, though slow to grab our order initially. Definitely a unique and fulfilling menu with the environment to match.

                                                                                                    We got sat down by the very attentive hostess but then we had to get our own glasses and request drinks 3 times. And then we had to do the same when we asked for re-fills. The food was not bad but our waitress was very inattentive and did not care about our table compared to others.

                                                                                                    The hostess was welcoming. Our server Chuck was attentive, friendly, and answered all of my wife’s questions about the neighborhood as we were on vacation in Minnesota for the first time.

                                                                                                    The new Monday lunch Collab with Captain Yum Yum' pop-up is great. I've had both the smoked chicken, and the bratwurst rice bowls, they were delicious. The Korean Onion soup is phenomenal.
