Studio Gauthier is the exciting new project from Alexis Gauthier, taking over the unique and beautiful setting of the BFI building in Fitzrovia. Beautiful velvet booths meet austere concrete and California colours with a large open kitchen to see everything the chefs are preparing. The 100% plant based menu features, for the first time, Gauthier Soho level dishes in a less formal and more wallet friendly environment, perfect for a fun evening with friends.
Also don’t miss the private, sheltered mews terrace at the back.

The sushi, bread, sides were very tasty. My friend had a pasta dish with kale and found it bland. For me, I would come back as my dishes were really good. The young waitress had no clue about the wines by the glass. I wanted a light / pinot noir and she had to ask. There are only 4 /5 reds so you’d expect the waiting staff to know the basics. Our table was by the glass doors which are clear glass and there was an event at the BFI next door. The doors opened twice and brought in a big draft. They should have opaque doors and no access between the restaurant and next door. The whole space feels a bit odd between a cafe and a restaurant. The ceiling is concrete so it does not add to the place feeling cosy. The sofas were very comfy fortunately. Well done to the chef for making delicious food regardless if you’re vegan or not it’s a delight.

Amazing first experience at Studio G. The tasting menu was delicious and the service excellent. The drinks were expensive but for a special treat it's definitely worth it. We've now been to all 3 Gauthier restaurants and they are all top notch. Def recommend them all.

I LOVE this place. This was my first time eating here, but I used to visit 123V when it was a Fenwick on Bond Street. The Petit Sushi Set with a glass of wine was one of my very favorite meals on every visit to London. So happy they serve it at Studio Gauthier...annd it's as good as I remember. I'll definitely be back and be recommending to friends.

Wonderful taster menu at Studio Gauthier. It was my second visit, and a different menu. I loved every course - such variety! Great service and a wonderful ambiance. I will be back for the next season’s menu!

Food wasn’t great and mostly bland. Sushis were amazing and would we not have tried anything else, we would have given it 5 stars as the venue and service was spotless.

A sincere thank you to Alexis Gauthier for his dedication to fostering a more compassionate world. Additionally, appreciation to Head Chef Alexia Dellaca-Minot for crafting a Tasting Menu that sets a new standard of excellence. The Black Kelp Caviar Tartlettes and Cashew Pate with crisp, melt in the mouth Brioche were extraordinaire. The Kale Tortellini & Sushi were exceptionally good followed by an exquisite Jerusalem Artichoke. Rounded off with Winter Blood Orange, Lovage & Caramel was the perfect treat!

The flavours were good but the Levant Menu lacked in variety and all felt quite heavy. Rice pudding after rice and beans? The service was very friendly and a lovely booth but the restaurant was cold and draughty. Mot what you want after coming in from the cold and rain outside. They offered blankets which I found bizarre in an indoor restaurant.

For me that was the best tasting menu so far and we have tried at least 6 previously. Enjoyed every course as all were perfectly balanced, especially the Fava stew, soup and the bread course. We cannot wait to hear of your next tasting menu, keep up the good work it is needed.
