Succotash PRIME is a progressive perspective of classic Southern favorites. James Beard Award winner Edward Lee brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern Steakhouse menu.

SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified, and passed from generation to generation for centuries. Our “Succotash” is special to us and we invite you to experience the South from our point of view.

Overall, for Christmas Day and a busy night, the food and experience were fine. The hush puppies and pimento cheese were well worth it. The deviled eggs were slightly over cooked but the filling was good. The pickled green tomatoes filler was barely there but the bacon jam was good. The only real disappointment was the scallop dish. For the price, the scallops were minimal — maybe the width of quarter. They were cooked well but it just felt like it was a hint of scallop with the main being the corn bread rectangles.

Kwnane our server and the manager Clark were both rockstars! We went here for Christmas night and we’re going to be talking for a LONG time about how these two helped make this a truly magical Christmas miracle! Beyond their impeccable service, the food was exemplerary! The steaks were phenomenal and the cornbread was other-worldly. Recommend the hummingbird cake as well! We were four people that were truly lucky to experience a Christmas miracle of a dinner!

We completely enjoyed our Christmas dinner. The food was different and delicious! The service was fantastic eventhough the restaurant was busy. There were more than adequate servers and the wait time was minimal!

When I arrived for my reservation the restaurant was not open but once the doors opened the staff was efficient and quick to assist. The deviled eggs with bacon jam was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Our waiter was perfect, responding to menu corrections and very pleasant. I would recommend the restaurant.

We ordered many things and nothing disappointed. We tried all three devil eggs, hush puppies, firecracker shrimp, and wings for appetizers. There were only three of us and we ate all of it. For mains we had the scallops (special for the week), Rib Eye, and the chicken and waffles. All of it was fantastic. We had two chocolate desserts. The desserts were good but a bit rich.

Just a wonderful experience and love the Korean perspective on American Southern Classics. It's not simply "fusion" style cooking, which I don't particularly care for. Instead, the presentations of Southern dishes with a Korean "take" are masterfully done. Chef Lee really captures the soul and place of the dish with a Korean flair. Well done Chef Lee!

even though we booked at 6pm, but we need to wait more than 10 mins so it would be better if they reduce waiting time for reservation

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Succotash. We had a nice table in a corner and the service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, polite and professional. He made sure that the food flowed at an appropriate pace and that our water glasses were always topped off, and the table was kept clean. The food was delicious! I had a salad, catch of the day and hummingbird cake all of which was fantastic. My husband had corn bread and shrimp and grits, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. .
