Succotash PRIME is a progressive perspective of classic Southern favorites. James Beard Award winner Edward Lee brings his Korean roots and Southern repertoire to a soulful Southern Steakhouse menu.

SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. While many know “Succotash” when they see it, the dish has been interpreted, modified, and passed from generation to generation for centuries. We ordered the Taste of the South and it was absolutely fantastic!!! Our waiter Austin W. was super friendly and efficient and gave us some great recommendations! Thanks Austin! We can’t wait to come back! We used the InKind app to pay and it was super easy! Love that option!

The staff were wonderful especially or server. We also got a chance to check out the speakeasy bar in the up floor which we loved especially the drinks. I would def recommend this restaurant to all

                                                                                                    Fabulous night! Our Waiter Trish was very welcoming, make us feel like home! She guide us through the menu very well and carefully for us to make the best experience. We have some wings, popcorn shrimp, with some extra dirty sauce, ( no to spicy for my taste ) but delicious. Tuna tartare and the Dirty fry chicken on point to enjoy it the southern taste. Kudos to Trish for take care of us and make our night unforgettable. Until next time! Thank you for the meal.

Everything was delicious from the cornbread to the pecan pie, 10s across the board. The service was also top tier, Jakarri had great recommendations and was very attentive.

                                                                                                    We had dinner at Succotash PRIME before a show at the Warner Theatre, and it easily ranks as one of our favorite places to eat. The blend of Southern and South Korean flavors is nothing short of amazing—every dish is packed with bold, rich flavors that make for an unforgettable meal. Service was prompt and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. The cocktail menu is fantastic, offering creative and well-balanced drinks that complement the food perfectly. We visited during Restaurant Week, and the menu was well-curated, offering a great selection of dishes that truly showcased the restaurant’s style. The vibe is spot on—from the well-thought-out music selection to the overall ambiance, it’s the kind of place where you feel like you could settle in for the night with close friends. It’s got the perfect mix of energy and warmth, making it a must-visit spot in D.C. We’ll definitely be back!
