Sud Forno Temperance is housed in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of the financial district with soaring ceilings, custom-designed mosaic floors and installations that celebrate farming and our philosophy of Materia Prima. We invite you to come and enjoy our full-service restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner. Here we serve a number of traditional Italian dishes not found on the Terroni menu alongside well-loved Terroni classics. There is an elegant and intimate dining space on the second floor, as well as vibrant and bright dining space on the main floor. Come experience our Aperitivo hour daily from 4PM with signature cocktails and stuzzichini.
In the spring and summer months, choose to dine on our lush garden patio where you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core.

The food lacks flavour. Description on the menu sounded great. Not the case. Extremely slow service. Won’t return.

What can I say. Really wanted to like this place, especially as it was the start of a night out and a show at Massey Hall. Love Spaccio East and so had high expectations of this location. It fell flat, with a splat. First, the good. The space looks great. Very warm and inviting. And unfortunately, that's where it ends. The service is really slow. We waited half an hour for our drinks, which were simply two glasses of wine and a cocktail. It wasn't super busy, the space was maybe 2/3 full. And then the food. I love the pizza at Spaccio East and so ordered the same here. It was nothing like the other. Almost inedible, but I was hungry, so I ate it. My husband also loves the pizza at Spaccio East and ordered one here, too. He barely ate half (and they're small). The crust was hard, the toppings sparse and not very flavourful. Frankly, I've had better frozen pizza from a grocery store. My sister's pasta wasn't cooked properly and was mediocre, at best. When they finally came to take our plates away, we asked for the bill. There is a bit of a mix-up, but what can you do by that point but get it fixed and move on... My husband commented that the pizza was the worst he's ever had (and that's the truth, and we've tried a lot of pizza in the city). Barely any acknowledgment and it certainly wasn't taken off the bill; neither did a manager come over to check in as to why the comment was made in the first place. Anyhow, we left and certainly won't return. And frankly that's a shame because the space looks great and it's so convenient to the theaters in the area.

The service was top notch. Everything else was off that night. Hopefully that was a one off thing, I’d love to try again another time.

Came for a quick lunch with a friend. Ordered truffle ravioli which was delicious and had actual truffle slices. Also ordered a veggie pizza which was good but should note that the pizza is more of a thick dough style, not thin crust. Also had a fresh green juice blend which was so good! Location on Yonge is very central, close to Queen Station.

They were out of several menu items & food came out cold. I’ve been here before and had a great experience so this is odd!

Great experience! We sat upstairs in a nice booth. The food was amazing. So fresh. Highly recommend the bolognese pasta.

Great location right on Yonge Street. Cool vibe with two floors, more formal dining upstairs. Service was excellent and the food was very good with traditional Italian flare. Efficient service with food coming out hot and on time.

Our server was super personable, and we really enjoyed her input into our choices for the evening. The general manager stopped by our table and we had a lovely conversation with some input into our choices. She even brought us a few peppers to try with our meals. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere it was exactly what we were looking for casual fun
