Sugar Factory American Brasserie brings its first Sugar Factory Express to Mall of America!
Our fast casual dining experience carries all of the whimsy and fun Sugar Factory is known for, in a more casual environment for the whole family.
Known for its famous candy accessory, the Couture Pop, Sugar Factory has many celebrity fans including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Flo Rida, Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Scott Disick, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Selma Hayek and Mel B. Guests can expect a whimsical candy land experience with floor to ceiling candy bins, fun retail items, homemade gelato and artisan coffee. Instagram-worthy menu items range from their famous 24-scoop King Kong Sundae, piled high with various toppings, to their signature alcohol-infused candy smoking goblets such as the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces.

The food was great and the restaurant is SO cute! What a fun experience! It was a little too loud for my liking, but overall a very fun place to dine.

Super fun place. My kids love it here and the food is very good. My only quibble is that the music is too loud.

It is a fun place for a teen birthday, so it fit the bill there. The crazy shakes are huge and impressive, the food was just okay. Definitely way over priced. Our poor server did a great job but it was only him and he was slammed. He gave us some $ off and we felt for him. But i get a sense reading other reviews that this was not an isolated occurrence. Fun for a teen bday. Maybe would go again just for drinks/dessert if someone from out of town visits us.

The place was very overpriced and the food was not great either. The waffles were cold and we found mold on the strawberries. Didn’t offer us anything to drink but water. Server was very poor at his job.

Took my granddaughter for her birthday. I have been doing this for three years and she loves it. We were the only people in there at 1 o’clock. It was a Tuesday and cold outside. It was so much fun. Our server was wonderful and he made it really fun for her. There’s a reason why she wants to go there every year for her birthday. She wanted the hamburger with the pink bun, but that’s not on the menu anymore so she got the Belgian waffle but she liked.

Definitely more for kids than adults. Only got to order one drink then given our bill (sad for a place that is famous for their drinks!)

We brought our kids for a fun outing but will never eat here again. The service was poor and our “fresh” table setting included dirty napkins. Our entrees were never entered into the computer system causing us to wait for an extremely long time (kids had finished their meals and dessert by the time our meals arrived). The food is clearly an afterthought and desserts are the focus. Our entrees were bad. We left most of the food untouched and all agreed that we would eat when we got home. I knew when making the reservation that we weren’t heading into a five start dining experience, but I think I’d rather eat at a strip mall Applebees than this horrible, overpriced and overstimulating tourist trap.

Extremely overpriced and underwhelming. FYI, they no longer have a kids menu. These are things a person could probably check out in advance, but apparently, they didn't pay their website bill.
